Gorgeous, love the purple & green exterior. Just took some screenshots for my Pinterest, I love the blue ceiling/green wall room where the blue has come down the wall a kinda gothic/moorish archway pattern.

I am aiming for a colourful eclectic look to my own house. DP just says no to every idea I have hoping to curb some of my excesses.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 09/07/2020 23:54

Sod the house, I want the garden!

ILoveAnOwl · 09/07/2020 23:55

I love it. I also know the location and its in a fab place! Just need to find half a million quid now and it'll be mine...

Nanalisa60 · 10/07/2020 00:04

Wow, was flipping through the photos and thinking not a bit of gray then got to the bathrooms. I think it’s kind of refreshing not to see the bog standard boring house like most of us have!!

But I could not live with all that colour, amazing garden.

Monty27 · 10/07/2020 00:08

I think it's so quirky. It looks like something from a Disney cartoon. Excellent photography.
I wouldn't want to live in it though Grin

Fatarseflanagan09 · 10/07/2020 00:18

It’s lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2020 00:25

It's delightfully bonkers. I love it.

Queenest · 10/07/2020 00:43

It looks like how I imagine Dr Doolittle might decorate his house. Guessing the artist hadn’t got around to doing some of the rooms yet. I wonder why they’re moving Confused

user327253 · 10/07/2020 00:53

It's amazing. I love it. Except the exterior, I really hate that purple. I'm guessing someone who lived there didn't like it and they compromised on the kitchen and bathroom Grin.

Queenest · 10/07/2020 00:59

I know what you mean. It’s difficult to tear your eyes away. So much to look at.

Mine is somewhat dull in comparison.

TimeWastingButFun · 10/07/2020 01:19

Wow, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen's aunt's house, methinks! Just think, someone actually came home with tester pots, tried it out and STILL did that! 🙈

CatAndHisKit · 10/07/2020 01:31

haha, it's all bright to break up the ridiculous amount of greenery all around!
I think a theatre designer or similar lives there.

Chienloup · 10/07/2020 01:49

Ohh, it's lovely. I would have to get rid of the red walls, but the rest I could live with, and some of it is beautiful.

The Boy George portrait with the wool hair made me smile!

cakeandchampagne · 10/07/2020 01:58

Wow! So colorful! I’d like to meet the owner.

SleepingStandingUp · 10/07/2020 02:15

Tbf I would. In some rooms need are coat but it's so much nicer than 50 shades of grey and magnolia

Rookie93 · 10/07/2020 05:14

Wow - love the mural in the dining room particularly, and a huge fan of a chandelier at any opportunity. Like pp disappointed with the bathrooms & kitchen though and can only imagine how fascinating the owners are. That garden and the greenhouse are very exciting as well.
Hope whoever is lucky enough to buy it doesn't change it to a grey box though.

PhilCornwall1 · 10/07/2020 05:35

It's a lovely house, but Jesus, with that colour scheme, it would be like living in a bilious attack!!!

Toilenstripes · 10/07/2020 05:59

The floors are shocking.

Tlollj · 10/07/2020 06:10

I think it’s awful. I wouldn’t be able to settle anywhere, except in the bath maybe.
Those mannequins would be the first thing out the door.

frumpety · 10/07/2020 06:15

It has a very warm, welcoming feel to it. No doubt someone will come along and grey and bifold door it. Looking at the floor plan there appears to be an outside toilet taking up a portion of the lounge ?

fairydustandpixies · 10/07/2020 06:22

My eyes are bleeding...!

sashh · 10/07/2020 06:28

I love it.

Someone obviously went to art school.

I used to be a lodger in an artist's house, on of her daughters had painted the bathroom with banana trees and monkeys, I loved it.

PurBal · 10/07/2020 06:36

Love it

Gingernaut · 10/07/2020 09:01

I think it's a wedding dress from around the 1960s

The coat dress is covered by a gold coloured, gauze-like, hooded open coat, with a golden chain at the neck.

The sleeves are longer than the dress.

My current house when I bought it had a lot of purple and gold. We have repainted most of the rooms now just the purple kitchen and front door and fence to deal with. We met with the previous owner briefly and she had purple glasses as well as purple hair.
