Seriously, what would put me off here is that the vendor is clearly nuts. Apart from that, if it was the kind of property I was looking for, all good.

I have no idea of the price etc but why the hell is there a bike in the bath?

If it is Leiston it is very near Borley which was, once upon a time, known as the most haunted village in England - see Harry Price and his paranormal investigations in the 1930's. Mostly centred around Borley Rectory which mysteriously burnt down - could be this house is built on that site!! Price is now largely discredited as a fraud and charlatan though!

Senior moment - Borley is near Liston not Leiston - ignore everything I said!! Embarrassing fundamental error, apologies. No wonder I failed geography 'O' level

I guess a bath might be a great waste of perfectly suitable storage especially if you're not in it on a daily basis. {not that I'm suggesting anything about washing habits}

The brickwork around the front windows and the top of the door is a different brick - looks like someone bought door and windows, then changed the shape of the original openings to fit them in.

The brickwork on the gable end is a bit patchy, looks as though some other building was attached to it at some point.

Serious damp/condensation indoors too.

Re signs on the front, is the Ancient Drovers Way to the front or the side? There are no signs on the house on the Google Earth image.

Definitely a case of full structural survey.

I was wondering why the garage /workshop wasn't mentioned in the description, then realised that the picture was of the kitchen!

Rather than the "haunted' bit in the notes, I'm more entertained by the" items shown not included". Shame, as the dartboard could have really swung the sale.
Or include the quite nice bike and double the value of the place.

Divorce or something maybe but you'd at least tidy the place up. Shut the kitchen door. Remove the bike.
