Property not selling and not getting any offer

Hi,
It has becoming little furstated now and thought if someone please cam advise or help me because I cannot figure out the issue and tried chaning the agents as well.
I am trying to sell my property and it is exactly as per the market rate but now, it has been 6 months and only one buyer offered who later pulled out. It is really a nice property and we always leave it completely clean on the viewing day but still no luck.
Can anyone please help or suggest something.

Thanks,
Liss

Typo, should have read: which is a long time ago in terms of constantly changing markets.

@Blunt Here is the Rightmove page for 1 Coronation Road, Basingstoke, where it clearly says at the top "Land Registry sold prices":

It could definitely do with some effort to make it look appealing. As others have said it is very grey, no colour, too empty. People are buying a home and want to feel drawn to it.

My house sold within 72 hours a couple of months ago (also in Hampshire) . With most that don’t sell I would say it is down to lack of effort to make them appealing or to over-optimistic pricing

I am probably echoing what others have already posted, but you need to furnish all the bedrooms as bedrooms and move the dining table so it isn't pushed out of the way. Borrow some furniture if necessary or buy it cheaply secondhand.

There is one picture in the wall in the living room: not a single picture anywhere else in the house. The overall effect is of a redecorated rental house and it needs to come across as a warm, welcoming family home instead.

Thanks,

Pop furniture in back garden and pain fence a pale something so it looks less enclosed xx drop price

wowfudge · 22/07/2018 20:34

That looks more inviting!

That looks better already, can you get another bedside cabinet and some bigger lamps to put on them (can make it more look more luxurious).
Put some candles maybe on the shelf (I’d move that box thing that’s on there).
Another picture above the black chest of drawers.
A vase with some flowers on the chest of drawers.
Some more cushions on the bed and a throw too.
If you can change the curstains to full length, it will make the room look bigger and usually looks more expensive too.

@wowfudge , @Kardashianlove: thanks and I can definitely do most of the suggestions...

Is the ceiling in the kitchen artex? It looks like on a picture and I myself had actually vetted properties because of that, because asbestos (often found in artex) and eve if not, removal is pricey.

Otherwise lovely house, but whoa. Glad I am in north when looking at prices in south.
