When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do, is take a look at you....

I agree, totally. But I'm sure you're parents might have moved the creepy mannequin head in the bath for the photos?

@kismett someone once "enjoyed" living in my house, they painted the bathroom bright orange... Walls, ceilings and even the door. It had all been (badly) painted over prior to us buying the house.

Feel like I'm drowning... but I agree with poster who wrote that they can see how much enjoyment the design brought to the owner. And after all ... it's they who had to live (drown) in it!

The Godfather springs to mind with that horse head.

Kismett · 24/06/2018 23:33

Hah now I want to see pics of a bright orange bathroom!

My husband decorated with too much orange in his first place and I was very happy to leave it behind. But it sounds like nothing compared to an all-orange bathroom.

I will definitely warn my parents to move any creepy mannequin or horse heads before selling. Grin

Random fish slice in the kitchen? WHERE'S THE LUBE?
Probably in a blue tube so camouflaged.

I can totally get everyone having their own tastes. At 19 in my first property I sanded and sprayed a load of donated mismatch furniture people kindly donated me, and my purple kitchen with accompanying silver moon and star spray transfers was an absolute delight! But at this price tag and from the guesstimate of the bathtub cost. You'd think they could have sprung for carpets and some furniture maybe.
