Boilers and tanks - confused

Right, so we are buying a townhouse and I'm not entirely sure how the plumbing works.
It appears to have a combi boiler, water tank and a cylinder.
I think the boiler is a vaillant ecotec, but no model number to be seen on it.
Can anyone shed some light on how it might fit together, as I suspect some is redundant?

Ask the vendors? Do it through your solicitors - totally valid question. The green thing below the large white water tank is a pump of some sort. The blue cylinder is a hot water cylinder. Are you sure the boiler's a combi because it looks like a traditional set up instead? Where are the cylinder and tank located?

Is [[https://www.vaillant.co.uk/homeowners/products/ecofit-pure-system-26115.html this]] the boiler? If so, it's not a combi.

you have a vented cylinder, so it's unlikely you have a combi.

you have a lot of bare pipes, they would benefit from lagging, especially the hot ones and any in the loft.

It looks like there is a shower pump to increase the pressure. This is not unusual. It should be installed to run only when the shower is running, as it will be somewhat noisy. The pipework is rather untidy, but the concept is fine.

Sorry for the delay.
Thanks all for replying.
I've only lived in flats before, so pretty clueless on anything more than a simple combi boiler.
Glad to hear it all looks normal, if a little messy!
