Not because I’m minted, but because where I am that would get you a 3 bed semi. Now I want to move to Doncaster

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 07/03/2018 17:04

Same @TeddyIsaHe !

Fekko · 07/03/2018 17:05

Small 2 bed flat here if you are lucky. Hmmmmm.

Garmadonsmum · 07/03/2018 17:06

There’s a football pitch in the garden. Makes me think of Richie Rich.
I like it.

womanhuman · 07/03/2018 17:07

Oh, the kids would still ignore it and climb on the sofa/fire/bannister instead.

We all know it.

RafikiIsTheBest · 07/03/2018 17:11

I actually really like it! Maybe that's just me. And no it's not my house, bloody wish it was. I'm in a crappy 2-bed terrace with a nice 1950s style that we can't afford to do anything about, so this would be a nice step up and I wish someday to be able to afford such a big house.

I'm guessing the description has been left off because they will be dismantling and taking the soft play with them. Personally, I'd have had it going to the first floor so the kids (I) can go up and down that way too, add in another slide or something. I love it!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 07/03/2018 17:12

Wow! What's with all the tarmac out the front - no greenery at all.

It's all very odd.

The island in the kitchen is way too far out, squidging the weird table and chairs, really badly planned.

Shen0102 · 07/03/2018 17:20

I like it..

RafikiIsTheBest · 07/03/2018 17:31

The tarmac is the drive, it's double gated. Looks nice on the street view (takes a bit to find it though). Has some weird palm style trees or something.

BirthdayKake · 07/03/2018 17:34

I like it! And it's local to me Shock although I'm not that rich sadly

PhelanThePain · 07/03/2018 17:35

Wow! Such a massive house with so much potential and they completely cheaped out on everything!

dotdotdotmustdash · 07/03/2018 17:39

Bedroom 4 doesn't seem to have access to a bathroom?

The horrible built-table thingy in the kitchen is odd. If your going to sit around the table in a curve, then at least get a table with rounded corners.

elliejjtiny · 07/03/2018 17:47

I want it, but only if I can redecorate first. I bet my DC would ignore the soft play and slide down the banisters etc instead though!

RafikiIsTheBest · 07/03/2018 17:50

I'd swap bedroom 4 and the study, then bedroom 4 can use the downstairs bathroom. Would be great for my older relatives who come to stay... if only I had that much money and DP would move.

FleetwoodSmack · 07/03/2018 17:55

The soft play bit is much the nicest part.

4yearsnosleep · 07/03/2018 17:57

Not to my taste, but I'm amazed what £625,000 buys you in Doncaster!

MadAssHatter · 07/03/2018 18:17

Who needs the soft play, my bairn would be swinging off the fireplace in the living room. Not very child friendly is it?

Fekko · 07/03/2018 18:20

Mine would be sliding cross the floors. I probably would too to be honest in a sock-footed mock ice skating fashion.

dotdotdotmustdash · 07/03/2018 18:44

I'd swap bedroom 4 and the study, then bedroom 4 can use the downstairs bathroom.

That's only a loo and sink. Guests, whether in the study or bed 4 have no direct access to a shower/bath other than the ensuites.

It's a huge plot and could have had a great house on it, but it's an architectural disaster! Even the front is ugly with all it's little windows.

SallyOMalley · 07/03/2018 18:48

I think it looks a bit like an out of town office building.

Having said that, you could make a fortune hosting children's parties from home. An hour's play followed by a party tea around the kitchen table - job done! (Could be bit loud with all those hard surfaces, though).

It looks like a converted school, with all the Tarmac and crappy field. I would like a two storey soft play instead of stairs though!

HopelesslydevotedtoGu · 07/03/2018 20:59

I love that the description doesn't mention the three storey soft play. Unless the owners are taking it with them?

Titsywoo · 07/03/2018 21:21

That house just looks so uncomfortable. Nothing homely about it whatsoever. Awful.

senua · 07/03/2018 21:51

It looks to me like the master bedroom has no door i.e no privacy!
