Can you please settle a minor conflict between my DH and I! Interested to get other opinions.

We can't sell our current kitchen all in one go so getting rid of this portion to start with. It's from the WIckes Tiverton Bone range...how much would you shove it on faceache/ebay/gumtree for? It's in really good condition, clean, no dinks, etc. This is not an snidey way to advertise it by the way as we're not quite ready to dismantle it yet but want to get things ready to go.

Nope you could well be right chicken! Hence my minor conflict with DH He wants to sell - thinks we could ask for £200 - I'm not sure if anyone would buy and thinks if we put £50 someone might be tempted!!!

I’m not sure anyone will buy just one part of a fitted kitchen. I would wait and sell it all together, you’ll get a much better price.

£200 you could probably buy a whole kitchen for that on eBay.
Are you having the kitchen replaced in bits ? If so pop it in your garage. If you don't have a garage it's not worth the effort of storing it and selling it later on.

It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay. That’s why I like eBay; I usually list everything at 99p - with the idea that if people are interested, it will reach its natural price.

No idea what I'd pay, but would have though you're limiting your market as the only people are interested would be people who don't care what it looks like for a utility or shed and so want it cheap, or people who want it to match, so would prob want more of the kitchen in one go.

I am please to tell DH he in, indeed, insane!!! I had previously pointed out most of your reasons to him but it seems he needs to be told by others. Doofus.
We have no garage to store it but this part of the kitchen needs to come out to dig the floor up, generally start making a mess. Some of the rest we will be re-using in our utility. But we will leave it until the last minute to remove that and store in our front room! A serious game of storage Jenga will then be undertaken.

unless they are in some way special, second-hand kitchen units are mostly worthless. the buyer will have to collect them in a large car or a van, meaning they need to be local.

I needed a pan-drawer unit recently, to match a solid walnut kitchen from a particular range that is now discontinued. I ended up buying an entire second-hand kitchen for about £300, including two pan units, dresser, numerous cabinets, décor panels, and I could have had the newish dishwasher, washer and drier if I'd wanted them. What I didn't take will have gone in the skip by now.

It would have cost the previous owner about £12,000 at retail prices.
