How much money did you make on your most recent house sale?

Anyone else? It would be interesting to see the differences around the country. I realise I have benefited massively from the London property market, which is bonkers IMHO.

Bought in 2008: £200k
Sold (STC) in 2016: £350k

South East.

We've spent about £40k on it.

Bought one-bed flat in 87 for £59k; sold early 2002 for £185k; the same thing now would be around £350k, or more, thanks to the Jubilee Line extension. But the profit did pay off the mortgage on the almost forever house. And in between, it was a rocky old ride when interest rates hit 16% and I was subsidising the mortgage by £300 per month.

Bought in 2007: £168k
Sold in 2016: £220k

3 bed semi in Medway. It was in negative equity for a long time so we were happy to make anything on it.

My late parents' house. Bought in the 50s for £1800, sold for £180,000. They would've been very pleased as it's funding early retirement for me.
