Which farrow & ball colour?

Which colour would you suggest to go with this furniture for a calm and relaxing bedroom?

I'm thinking joas white and pointing but would love some ideas, I have a whole house to do and it's not my forte. House is Georgian if that helps.

What about their cooking apple green, a green was my first thought when you said calm/relaxing.
I'm made on burgundy/aubergine type colours.

I'm already using that in the bathroom :( lovely though! I'm thinking more neutrals/blues...

The only thing with blue is I always think of it as a cold colour, calm and relaxing though.

Old white or French grey are both relaxing colours.

Do you think French grey would be too much alongside the furniture?

No help here as it's perhaps not right with that furniture but I love Dimpse it was recommended on a previous thread and I've used it in the hall it's a soft bluesy grey except when it looks silvery in the evening light and I am now an official F&B fan.

Will have a look at dimpse! As I said ive a whole house to do so plenty of walls for lovely colours...

Dare I say it, beige and cream or hint of pink. Pink is definitely a calm colour, they painted the interior walls of my local job centre to keep everyone calm F&B slipper satin looks pink/lilac.

Borrowed light is the most gorgeous pale blue, we have it in 2 bedrooms.

If you've got picture rails I would use Nancy's Blushes below and a white above would set off that furniture beautifully (but dh would have to be out because he'd never agree)

I also have Joas White in a sitting room, it's quite a dark room but definitely has a yellowy tinge to it.

Will take a look at those, thank you! No picture rails unfortunately. Pretty much all internal 'features' have been stripped sadly :( putting high sittings back in and restoring windows though

I would go for a white. All White is er, just white but looks fab with grey.

I like Gnat's Chuff and Cunt Flaps. We've done the whole house in them.

or Badger's tadger...thats a nice pretentious hue.

I can't click on your link (blasted phone) so cant see your furniture. I have used Tunsgate Green and James White in different rooms. Both are lovely and calming colours.

I've also used a lot of Cornforth White. Looks great with a darker grey.

You really need to buy the tester pots, we liked skimming stone but it looked awful on the walls.

£5 spent on testers saves you a lot in mistakes averted.

Yes I'd say Cornforth White too - it's a really relaxing pale grey. You could paint one wall in CW and others in Wimborne White - they go really well together
