oiwhatsoccuring · 10/02/2011 19:12

Gower or Pembrokeshire

oiwhatsoccuring · 10/02/2011 19:12

Or if money was tight, Barry Island!

Honeydragon · 10/02/2011 19:13

yorkshire

JennyPiccolo · 10/02/2011 19:17

one of the Western Isles

or brighton, mibbe.

Grockle · 10/02/2011 19:18

Dorset coast. Without a doubt.

Exactly where depends on how urban/ rural you want to be. I am a 15 min walk from the beach and love it.

cinnamonswirls · 10/02/2011 19:29

Braunton in Devon - which is very possible Smile

or North West Wales which sadly isn't Smile but still beautiful for visits

Lizzywishes · 10/02/2011 19:40

Northumberland for a rural location, or Tynemouth for a more 'towny' setting.

Doowrah · 10/02/2011 21:40

Hayle, Nr St Ives

jonicomelately · 10/02/2011 21:41

North Wales.

Islandlady · 11/02/2011 16:08

Ryde on the Isle of Wight where I live about 20 mins walk from the sea.

Cowes is nice as well in fact everywhere apart from Newport on the IOW is nice

ivykaty44 · 11/02/2011 16:12

I would buy a helicopter Smile and stay living where I live, thus could get to the beach in 15 minutes Smile

Ormirian · 11/02/2011 16:28

Oh well, if we're allowed helicopters, I'd move to Isle of Mull and use the heli to get back to urbanity and convenience when the mood took me Grin

schoolsecretary · 11/02/2011 22:37

Right where I am now.. wirral

conculainey · 12/02/2011 00:06

Where I live now, on the Antrim coast just 10 minutes walk from the Giants Causeway. The scenery is stunning but there are very few people about so its very peaceful, the whole country only has a population of 1.7-1.8 million who live mainly in the cities and towns so the rural parts of the country are very isolated which I like Smile

TotallyUnheardOf · 12/02/2011 00:11

Lamorna Cove or Gwithian or Zennor maybe... all in Cornwall.

St Agnes, Isles of Scilly.

Mellon Udrigle, Wester Ross, Scotland.

Sinkingfeeling · 12/02/2011 00:30

Antrim coast or St Andrews

savewaterdrinkwine · 12/02/2011 16:11

I second the Wirral!

VivaLeBeaver · 12/02/2011 16:19

North Norfolk.

Ooopsadaisy · 12/02/2011 16:23

North Norfolk.

Ooopsadaisy · 12/02/2011 16:25

OMG Viva - how weird was that?

throckenholt · 12/02/2011 16:30

Somewhere on the West Coast of Scotland - may in the Oban area. Or possibly Orkney (bit dark in winter though).

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/02/2011 16:36

For the first 27 years of my life (part from a 8 month hiatus) I never lived more than a 5 minute walk from a beach.

I would go back to North Devon - and either live near Lee Abbey, Saunton or Putsborough.

dawntigga · 12/02/2011 16:38

Tregurrian Cornwall.

It's where that bloody Jamie Oliver decided to put 15 Cornwall :(

So if I can't get him to close it and move elsehwere I'd choose Mawgan Porth or Trevarrian.
