7+ exams for Westminster, King's and St. Pauls

Hello Everyone, my son is writing 7+ exams for Westminster, St.Pauls and KCS this year.
My son is preparing for a while now and struggling in English a lot as of now.
Could someone please provide me more insights on the interview and activity tasks that the kids are asked to participate in and how to ace those bits? How could I prepare my son for these bits?

Hi, The level required for creative writing should be such that it could be say around 20lines long, with a beginning, build up, problem, solution and the end included. There must be wow words, similes, adjectives, time words etc. included. The words used should be proper fit and not the ones that are made to fit forcibly.

Thinking of registering my DS for King's 7+ exam. Does anyone know when the website usually gets updated and when it is likely to show 2021 dates? Also would be super grateful for any recommendations of how to best prepare over the next 8 months or so. E.g., best books/resources etc & any other golden nuggets of advice! Thank you!

Can anyone help in letting me know how was Westminster’s interview sessions this time - was it an online class of a small group and if so what kind of activities were done to assess the kids? St. Paul’s is planning the same for 8+ so will be helpful to know. Thanks in advance

Interview: general questions and the boys had to bring a book they liked and talk a bit about it.
English lesson was a proper English lesson. After which they needed to write a poem and the parents needed to submit. This was followed by a Math test. Answers to be typed into zoom chat.

For 8+, deadline for SPJ and WUS was 4th march and deposits i heard are paid.

Bad press for St Paul’s, Latymer and Kings. Does any of the parents whose kids go to these schools share how the schools are managing this situation internally?

Congrats @IPSJ and @AslanTheLion and all the others with boys starting in Y3 at King's. My DS is preparing for the 7+ for King's. With 5 months to go, I would be really grateful for any advice/recommendations on books/resources/best strategy to prepare and any other advice from you pros ....
