Any suggestions?
Are supermarket ones any good? Decathlon? They’ve got some for £9 but they say you shouldn’t use them for football or tennis!

Just go for whatever they can get on and off their feet independently (ie not lace up) and that you're not precious about if they get lost, outgrown after only being worn for 20 minutes or wrecked.

Mine never needed even plimsolls for PE in Reception - they just did bare feet.

Cheap as you can get them. And get them to try the next size up to see if you can get away with it. They may literally get less than 10 hrs use out of them. Dd3 is going into year 6 and an adult size 6. Hers were 9.99 from a supermarket.

Brilliant, thank you! Off to check out the suggestions

Honestly - the Decathlon ones would be fine. They're going to be doing nowt more than throwing and catching beanbags and skipping around trying to get the concept of a space not equalling being superglued to the side of your best buddy, 90% of the lesson time is going to be spent getting them changed and they'll be using them for hardly any time at all.

Plus they're all going to say don't use for football because you'd be using football boots if you were playing sport to any serious level anyway.
