Water bottles that don't leak!

Has anyone ever found one?
I'm after a non leaking bottle for DS to take to school in September and I'm so fed up with them leaking over everything. Has anyone found one? Do they exist?!

Thanks & sorry for dull post!

Emailed Sistema and got this reply today:

Thank you for your email and purchasing Sistema bottles.

I am sorry to hear you have experienced an issue with the bottle lids, this is certainly not the standard we expect from our durable products and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are having an issue with the bottle lids at the moment with them breaking and leaking, this has happened ever since our plastic type changed on the main body of the bottle. This should however not affect the lid but for some reason it has. Our head office are aware of the situation and are trying to fix this as we email.

Please could you confirm the type and colour bottles you have and I will then ensure replacement lids are posted out to you.

Well done sistema for admitting the problem! I did used to like them.

We have been using any old clear plastic screw cap bottle - no leaking, no chewed mouthpiece, no expensive missing bottles and easy to see when some wag from DD1s class has been putting toilet paper inside. Anything with a pop up lid relies on DC pushing the lid down firmly...

Well done Taranta could you share the email address? I bought a Sistema bottle for myself to use while running, and to my annoyance it leaks a bit.

Yup, it's [email protected]

I went and threw away the bottles too once the lid snapped, in a fit of pique so will hold out for a new one once they've solved the problem!

Bobble bottles are great. A bit pricey, but great. Provided you close them they never leak. I trust them in my handbag.

Thanks for that email info Taranta. I'd looked for a Facebook page or contact information but had a crisis of confidence that it was worth me questioning whether there was a problem. They are such cheap bottles but we'd really never had an issue before.

We've currently got 3 bottles sharing one lid so I'm going to see if we can get a couple of replacement lids!

I've always been a fan of sistema bottles too..they last years!

Ive had the same problem with the new bottles though. The lids broke after a week or so. I emailed them and they sent me out new kids :).

New kids bikegirl77? That's an unconventional approach! ????
