To answer questions....

New ht started in Sept
Not what we were expecting. We had been good with outstanding features and were expecting RI
Parents were furious at having no warning that this report was coming out.
Had a meeting on Wed night....most uncomfortable.
Many think new head didnt fight hard enough.

But she will look good if we are inadequate and she can pull us up to Good. ShockShock

Our school was inspected 4 months ago and still no report or meeting with parents. HT has left to work in another school (after sending a letter out 5 days before leaving Hmm), no idea if we have another HT working away in the background or if they are looking for someone to fill the position. I wish I could say I'm surprised but our schools communication has always been shockingly shit.

Rubrekt, I don't believe that the new head teacher can make any difference to the result of the inspection. In reality all the "sins" are from the previous regime because of the way that the data is always going to be "old" data. And in reality any new data that may indicate that things are getting better will only have limited credence with the inspection team.
You also have no idea what the new head has been saying to the LA. I know for a fact that in one local LA a number of head teachers who were appointed in September have all reported to the LA that in their opinion the schools they took over at were not the good and outstanding schools that they were supposed to be. OK I accept that it is in their interest to be saying that but it is true that schools can wander along under an existing head teacher for a good number of years before what appear to be minor cracks suddenly become great chasms because they have failed to keep up with what the latest Ofsted inspection regime.

I agree admission.

Am sure she did her best....tis the beeatches in the background who are saying these things.

She has a great vision for school and I think, work with her or leave! Smile
