Are you able to contact your kids' teachers by email?

I'm so glad that teachers have someone like sturdyoak to tell us how to do our jobs more effectively.

It does strike me how hard primary teaching is. This evening on email I have done the following :

Received an essay, marked it and returned it
Discussed and hopefully resolved an issue with a parent.
Sent a message to a whole year group
Gathered academic information on a student and filtered it out to staff
Booked two meetings with parents
Set homework for an A level class
Shared some resources
Chastised a boy

I could not cope without email and find it an invaluable way to keep parents informed

THanks Neename, it is morning sickness and judging by my other pregnancies I have a few more months to go yet!
