@Emilyjaynee666 oh I'm sorry you're going through this. It might not be a miscarriage so try and not panic just yet. You have a scan today? Have you any cramping at all as you surely would have if it was? X

Did they offer you any info or give you leaflets with a phone no. for support?

Mrsstart · 03/06/2023 12:08

@Emilyjaynee666 So sorry 😢
Get yourself signed off work, take some time and see what help is available in your area. Your partner should be your biggest support at this time, try not to shut him out because it's very easy to worry about their feelings and push yours aside. Talk to him and be as open as you can.
I wish you all the luck in the world xx

@Emilyjaynee666 sorry for your loss.

After your history the GP should definitely be able to refer you for further investigation.

Tommy's miscarriage charity are also great.

Siarabang · 03/06/2023 22:26

So so sorry for your loss. That's such a lot to take for one person and I really hope you have support around you. My heart goes out to you.

TW, I think I’m having a miscarriage.
ive never had a miscarriage before so unsure if I’m currently having one. About 2 weeks ago I started bleeding although I’ve not had a period since January due to medication and when I looked my underwear was full of loads of small clots, after that I stopped bleeding then about 5 days later I starting bleeding a browny type colour for 2 days and then 2 days ago I started bleeding really heavy to the point I was changing a pad every 10 mins, after this had been happening for about 2 hours I had stood up to go to the toilet again and the blood was just running down my leg then I felt this big clot come out. I’ve had severe pain the last 2 days and I did take a pregnancy test which is positive I did call the doctors and have told me to go to a&e which I will be doing in the morning. If this does look like a miscarriage how far along do you think it looks as I wouldn’t know due to no periods. Sorry for the long post.

Sorry you're going through this. I'm not a medical professional who deals with miscarriage but I don't think someone would be able to say how far along you were based on how much you were bleeding. I would think they would be able to tell you this after a scan of your womb?

LittleDoveLove · 11/08/2023 09:24

@Redheadgirl67 they say if your bleeding more than 2 pads an hour to go to A&E. They will likely send you to EPU to get checked out. Most EPU not open at weekends so best to go as soon as you can. Thinking of you x
