preparing to make a success of breast feeding, ideas?

Any ideas please or books, videos, online resources? I'm a first time mum and 30 wks, I really want to make a go of breast feeding and I hear so many who have difficulty and ultimately fail. .

I really feel I need a step by step guide and detail on what to expect, common problems etc.

Put baby to boob as much as poss at first so you can both play at getting the latch right. ........no one wants to take a hungry baby off because poor latch is hurting, so practice before they are hank marvin! This will also encourage supply as your baby is more efficent at getting milk out than any pump. It is a skill so send visitors away angd give yourselves a few days, just to practice this!
