Hi,

Title says it all, got up at 3am to go to the loo and there was brown spotting on wiping. It is still here this morning, although none has transferred to the pad I'm wearing. Not sure whether to go to the docs or just monitor and contact them if it gets worse. Help!

Just back, had to go collect DS1 from CM's. Scan went okay, I am only 5+3 so not much to see so nothing definate, no bleeding found and its all stopped. Cons is happy with the way things are progressing and started me on progesterone pessaries.

Good news for you as well Rocklover!

Good news for you too Julez. I guess you only saw the fetal sac as a bit early for a heartbeat.

I went on oral progesterone. Puffed me up like a balloon but I didn't care. Off it now, stopped at 15 weeks.

Hi, just to add my experience to the mix. I am now nearly 19 weeks but have had bleeding at 12, 13, 16 and 17 weeks. V stressful each time but I am a lot more reassured now I can feel the baby wriggling I think it is fairly common but it is so worrying isn't it? Fingers crossed that will be the end of it for you but remember its not a total disaster if it does happen again - I have told myself this may just be something I have to deal with throughout the pregnancy and will have to deal with it accordingly

Glad it went well Julez, at least we'll be able to relax tonight. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and kind words, made coping with this so much better.

Excellent news Rocklover - have been watching your thread as something similar happened to me at the beginning of current pg - also I was further along than I'd thought (3weeks!). Reading your post brings back that feeling of pure relief - one minute you're crying from sadness, then from happiness!

Mine funnily enough was checked out on a Tuesday and continued through til Friday. Then nothing for about 2 weeks and then had another recurrence - much shorter that time but still had it checked again, it's such a worry. I hope things continue to go well for you xxx
