For me, it was the hyperactive gag reflex... I can still gag myself with my toothbrush. And the ridiculous sense of smell. And DS was two in February!!! Is this ever going to go away? I can still smell the tap water when washing my face (and no one else can, or at least, they say they can't ), and the other morning I woke up and smelled the water and apple juice I had standing by my bed.
And no, I'm not pregnant again.

What are yours?

Can't say I've noticed that Captain N!

Ooh yes - wind. I hardly ever farted before I got preg - honestly!

herjazz · 11/04/2010 21:14

piles, pies, grey hairs, freak hairs and rabid pubes. Well the last ones go away if I make some semblence of effort

bluepanda · 11/04/2010 21:14

I went off chocolate so violently it still repulses me totally I even went to lengths of getting pregnant again to see if it reversed the effect, but 31 wks now and no joy
My belly button was never quite the same either, and this time I'm so outy it looks like baby might emerge from there instead of downstairs!

teaandcakeplease · 11/04/2010 21:16

Still wee a little if I sneeze hard even now

Horrible stretch marks and saggy boobs, like used tea bags, they've actually shrunk to smaller size since having kids on giving up BF. So wrong! TMI

scarycanary · 11/04/2010 21:17

bluepanda I went off chocolate during my pregnancy but now I am the complete opposite and have put on loads and loads of weight due to an over compensation.

So very very

A strange hot but dead patch of flesh on my upper inner left thigh.

A dislike of the smell of coffee.

And my youngest has just turned 18 years old, so I guess I'm stuck with the above for life now.

strawberrykate · 11/04/2010 21:21

I'm going to lower the tone...

ALL my hair changed.
It fell off my legs
When darker and straighter and thicker on my head
and most weird of all my short n curlies went long and straight! I don't recognise my downstairs!

princessmel · 11/04/2010 21:22

I have the Chloasma thingy too On a patch on the rhs of the bridge of my nose.

Also stretch marks. LOADS!

Bigger feet, half a size bigger.

Kinky/bent not curly hair.

Bigger boobs.

stripeywoollenhat · 11/04/2010 21:22

i am much warmer (i mean physically, not remotely nicer) and my belly hangs over my belt like a shelf - dd is 14 months now.

stripeywoollenhat · 11/04/2010 21:24

also, the friggin' caffeine thing: no tea after six, or a wakeful hour at two. good thing she's cute.

Eaglebird · 11/04/2010 21:26

A loathing of pomegranate juice.
I had a fancy for it whilst pregnant, drank a big glassful one morning, then promptly threw up.
I could heave just thinking about pomegranate juice now. Ugh.

MrsJohnDeere · 11/04/2010 21:38

Bunions.

Loathing of bacon and anything salty (am ridiculously sensitive to excess salt in food now).

Hair loss (not a preoblem because I have/had masses of thick curly hair).

Also tetchiness.

LilRedWG · 11/04/2010 21:43

SPD, tiredness and grumpiness (although DH would probably say I had the later prior to pregnancy).

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 11/04/2010 21:45

I can't use Eve Lom facial cleanser. I had a travel size pot when I was pg and it smelt so disgusting it made me heave and still does (though pg again but even when not pg).

My Reynauds syndrome went when I was pg, and though it returned about 2 years later it has never been as bad since.

Oh yes, and the crowning glory - hypothyroidism, bought on by having a baby, here for life

GwennieF · 11/04/2010 21:46

Numb patch inbetween CS scar and belly button

Piles

Dry patches on the front of my feet

Loads of tiny moles all over.....

fanjoboils · 11/04/2010 21:58

Wider feet
Stretch marks
CS scar
Piles
Fat arse
Anxiety

And, despite all this, my DH

morejuiceplease · 11/04/2010 22:10

Bigger feet
stretch marks
tummy that just won't disappear no matter how many sit ups I do
giant bum
still sometimes get that let down reflex in my boobs even though it's been nearly a year since I stopped breast feeding

taffetacat · 11/04/2010 22:17

sweet tooth after DD
skin tags
grumpiness
complete inability to watch anything sad or violent
stretch marks

Rockbird · 11/04/2010 22:21

Yep bigger feet here too. A whole fecking size
A dependence on full sugar lemonade
Crying at everything including weather reports and cbeebies
An aversion to anything vaguely ginger flavoured

Rockbird · 11/04/2010 22:22

Oh and wee trickles

Wonderstuff · 11/04/2010 22:29

Sweet tooth
Worry - I was fantacising last week about being single and childless and not having to worry about anyone but me. I love DH and DD to bits but life was so much simpler and less stressful before.
My ability to remember things seems to have dwindled, I know I know something, but I just can't retrive the information like I used to.
I have a stretched out tummy.

CaptainNancy · 11/04/2010 22:31

Strawberrykate- so glad you brought it up! Mine used to be blonde and straight, but they're dark and wavy now

My leg hair has gone dark brown too... bah!

EightiesChick · 11/04/2010 22:38

Middle back pain that always comes on when I'm walking for more than a few minutes. Have been waiting for it to go away and have realised that now after more than a year, it probably isn't going to.
