Bugaboo Bee - what colour would you get?

Apologies if not the right forum for this but I'm trying to decide what colour Bugaboo Bee to get. The choice is black, khaki, blue, pink, yellow and red.

I think I like the yellow, but am I brave enough?

What would you do?

i think the yello is nice but i also think i would go off it very quickly and it will show dirt and you will be sick of it before long, i think the red is nicest but the blue one is nice too

oh no why did you have to mention chunkle munkle... i have now looked them up and am about to order myself a custom new hood for my buggy, couldnt help myself

The yellow isn't a nice shade of yellow, I find it very acidic.

I'd go for blue, for either sex, it's a very nice shade

Ronshar you are thinking of the Cameleon - both made by Bugaboo but very different prams.

I quite like the Khaki actually and would never have yellow as I would fear it would attract wasps in summer which I am petrified of! I've had black and red but then sold my Bee. However, when this next baby arives I will be buying another - hopefully the new version will be out by then.

Baby-pages.co.uk sell spare hoods for the Bee for £30 so you could always get a couple of colours if you really can't decide

I could well be ladies.
Have you thought about when baby is bigger. They look a bit uncomfortable for toddlers.
But then I got sucked in by the Microlite. Looks gorgeous but DD2 hated in. She never fell asleep in it. I bought a proper buggy and she slept all the time.
Fickle babies

The least nickable colour, so I could leave it outside the baby clinic or friends flats etc. Don't want to be restricted in my movements because of the colour of the buggy. For the same reason though I went for a £90 McClaren. 3 years and 2 children later it's been up mountains, accross the beach, on longhaul flights etc etc. I love it.

Black with different accessories looks really good. I used the pink footmuff and parasol.

PinkyMinxy · 02/12/2009 20:50

Mine is pink with a black foormuff- but it was for sharing between my two girls. I like the khaki, but tend to go for bright colours.

My slightly more leggy than average DD1 loves it. She doesn't really go in it now she is 3 but she slept well in it when she was still napping at around 2.5 and would still be comfy in it now if she wanted to sit in it, which sje doesn't, because she has her scooter!

It looks small, but it isn't really, it's just not bulky. The recline is fab. and the fact that you can push the handle down is very handy in crowded lifts etc.

Stressheaderic - v impressed with your celeb pushchair knowledge!!!!

I liked the yellow till I saw it in real life and actually thought its a bit too bright so I'm going to be boring and go with Khaki or black....
Good suggestion to get an alternative hood... I like that idea!
