I'm nearly 37 weeks and I am bloody pissed off. Everything hurts, my lower back aches, my bump drags and the braxton hicks are so strong. I feel like I'm gonna wet myself or poo myself all the time. I'm too hot, I have permanent indigestion so never get more than an hour sleep. I am massive and everywhere I go people stare at me. My 3 year old and 5 year old are getting harder to handle every day. And... my dh won't have sex as he reckons it might bring on labour and he 'needs' another week at work. I need this baby to arrive as I have officially had enough. .

It's not like a first baby where you can treasure that last bit of time before the baby comes, I just want to get this over and done with so I can meet my little girl. dd1 - 39 weeks and dd2 - 35 weeks so was kind of hoping this one might show up a bit early too.

thats good to know puffy, I so desperately don't want a CS, the idea terrifys me! Best get scrubing the floors

Glad you baby turned for you, back to back is a lot more painful I've heard.

Feeling a lot more positive today, helps that DH is off for 3 days and is a wonderful at looking after the kids.

lazylion · 29/08/2009 19:02

There is nothing scary about a c-section memoo. I'm having one on Thursday and I will be having a party on the operating table after this horrible pregnancy.
Hope your baby turns for you anyway.

memoo · 02/09/2009 17:50

How is everyone doing?

I had scan today and baby has turned head down

Also had a sweep which means I'm now in agony but don't think its actually doing anything.

Being induced 11th if nothing happens before then.

Good luck for tomorrow Lazylion, how are you feeling??

puffylovett · 03/09/2009 09:31

hangingbelly had her baby

glad baby has turned for you memoo. Lets hope they put in an arrival soon eh !

RFCMummy · 03/09/2009 09:40

congratulations to hanging belly did she have a boy or girl?

Good luck today lazy lion, my section is in 5 weeks and cannot come soon enough!

puffylovett · 04/09/2009 15:22

Had a girl I think ! Lucky lady

Am getting impatient now !

RFCMummy · 04/09/2009 15:29

yeah me too and I still have 5 weeks to go!! counting down the days now, I am desperate to feel like 'me' again! xx

puffylovett · 04/09/2009 15:30

Oh it doesn't help that all the autumn season clothes have arrived and I can't try any on, either

Not that I could afford them, because all my mat pay is likely to go on cute real nappies and clothes if this LO turns out to be a girl

arolf · 04/09/2009 16:01

i'm still fed up, started getting bad acid indigestion (never having had anything like it before), so am moaning constantly to my poor DP, who wants baby to wait until the 17th, as he has a big deadline at work then. not going to happen if i get my way...

found this nice post on an american site though (translated into English from American)

NOTICE OF EVICTION:

I am issuing this 20 day notice of EVICTION. Tenant will have 20 days in which he/she can either gather his/her belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, he/she will be physically removed from the property.

He's/ She's being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

Noncompliance within the next 20 days will result in immediate and forceful removal at my discretion.

Love, Mum

puffylovett · 04/09/2009 16:29

the acid is horrible isn't it. I have to stop eating after 7pm, or else it keeps me awake all night

arolf · 04/09/2009 16:35

yup, it's not nice. doesn't stop me eating, just makes me eat loads of Tums, which I bought at the start of the pregnancy thinking I'd be living off them, and then didn't need until about a week ago. typical!
how long have you got left now? I've got 16 days until he's due, probably about 18 until I reach in and try and fish him out myself

puffylovett · 04/09/2009 17:04

Due on the 14th, but not entirely sure that's accurate - think it's more likely the 19th. Hoefully won't go overdue this time - went 18 days over with DS !

Yikes, have realised that means I'm due in about 9 days ...scary

memoo · 04/09/2009 18:15

arolf, thats fab! mad me smile

Acid isn't good at all, I'm averaging I bottle of gaviscon every few days, Don't even bother with a spoon anymore just swig it from the bottle

Congrats to hangingbelly

RFCMummy · 04/09/2009 19:42

Arolf that made me laugh!!!

All you lucky ladies due in September not long to go now and good luck to you all.

I have a section booked for 13th October which still seems like about 6 years away!

puffylovett · 05/09/2009 08:25

it will come around faster than you think

RFCMummy · 05/09/2009 19:52

I am hoping that when the dd's go back to nursery next week and all the toddler groups start back up that we will get back into our normal routine and the weeks will go a bit quicker!!

Comma2 · 06/09/2009 23:43

Me too, me too! 32 weeks only, so no hope for speedy end of this. I feel terrible, am cranky as hell and in what feels like constant pain in one corner os the other. DD wouldn't have seen the daylight for weeks if DH wouldn't make a valiant effort. But all he does extra now leaves no space whatever for symphathising with me, plus bloody mother likes to call and tell me it is all my all fault for spacing them so closely. Oh bloody hell, if this isn;t better when the baby is out i will have to do the responsible thing and put them and dh up for adoption.....

arolf · 07/09/2009 20:39

well, i went for a scan today, and baby is head down, his back is to my side, and he's engaged - so just have to hope he realises that he should make a bid for freedom sooner rather than later! he looks like he'll be a porker too 38+1 now, so technically, 13+12 days (hospital policy is 12 days overdue before inducing). Phoned my parents last night for a chat and got the 'ooh, have you had the baby yet?' chatter from them - yes, yes I have, I just didn't bother to get DP to tell you...

25 days seems like an awfully long time...

RFCMummy · 08/09/2009 07:25

Sending good baby eviction vibes to you arolf!!! Hope your little one arrives sooner rather than later especially if he is on the large size!!

People do ask the most stupid questions sometimes don't they!! Someone said to me yesterday 'oh I thought you had had the baby by now' - 'Yeah looks like it doesn't it!!!!'
