Did you suffer from morning sickness, and what sex did you have? (as in baby not with partner)

Sick up to 12 weeks with 1st - girl
Severe hospitalised sickness with 2nd - girl
Mild queasiness with 3rd - boy
Now 12 weeks pregnant and no sickness at all

Not at all with DS

Am now 35+3 with DS2 (apparently) and felt sick from 7wks - 9wks but never actually threw up

colditzmum · 11/04/2005 10:19

Rampant vomiting- boy

MommyD · 11/04/2005 10:21

ds1 - no sickness at all, no nausea at all
ds2 - no sickness at all, no nausea at all
d?? (25 weeks pg today) - 24x7 nausea from week 6 - week 14. Vomitted once. Nausea overwhelmingly horrible.

I THINK I am having a third boy - but only a hunch. Won't be finding out.

emmatmg · 11/04/2005 10:22

Felt rough and was grey from 6-12ish weeks with all 3 boys.

Only sick a couple of times altogether.

Pidge · 11/04/2005 10:27

Utterly ghastly - retching and sometimes actually sick from 6-12 weeks with dd1, even worse and it went on till 18 weeks with dd2. Frankly the rest of pregnancy is a doddle in comparison!

snafu · 11/04/2005 10:30

Severe nausea all day up until about 14 weeks. Rarely actually sick though. Had a boy.

cp3 · 11/04/2005 11:05

Piffle it seems to have gone so quickly doesnt it. I still need my scan to confirm the dates but definatly around 12 weeks. You should see my belly. im already showing which is quite a shock as that never happened with the other 3 either

morning sickness ( as in puke first thing and for for the rest of the day) with no1 - girl
dire all day sickness with no2 - also girl!!

bonniej · 11/04/2005 13:00

Really sick the whole way through with first one, was a boy. No sickness whatsoever with second.. a girl, pregnant now and have been very sick up until 12 weeks when it stopped, don't know what i'm having yet but will find out on 13th May (scan) Obviously assuming it's a boy due to sickness but after reading this, not so sure!

pootlepod · 11/04/2005 13:10

Yes, from about week 7 until week 11. Had a girl, but only felt sick from about 2pm onwards until about 8pm. The earliest I felt bad was about 9am. Only ate boiled rice for dinner for those weeks.

Noggermum · 11/04/2005 13:15

DD1 - absolutely nothing
DD2 - no actual sickness but felt more queasy- largely due to being more tired with DD1 to runaround after

My mum and both sisters had no morning sickness either. Sounds like this could be hereditary

suedonim · 11/04/2005 13:23

1st bad sickness to 5/6mths - boy

2nd No sickness - boy

3rd some sickness to 12wks - girl

4th thought I was dying! - girl

Blu · 11/04/2005 13:24

No sickness at all. Boy.

bee3 · 11/04/2005 13:27

A bit queasy for a few weeks, but no sickness - boy.

serenity · 11/04/2005 13:32

DS1 and 2 , queasy until about 12 weeks - only sick if I triggered asthma or when I brushed my teeth.

DD - constantly queasy, but worse than with DSs, frequent sickness triggered by weird things like the smell of my own skin (?!) I felt awful right up until she was born.

With all 3 I started feeling ill from about 3 weeks.

donnie · 11/04/2005 13:35

DD - sick as a pig for at least 16 weeks and mild sickness on and off thereafter.

Currently 36 weeks pg, dont know the sex but was sick as a pig again for at least 5 months and still vaguely nauseous now.Roll on labour!

throckenholt · 11/04/2005 13:40

seems such a long time ago now.

First one - boy - sick all day up until about 16 weeks

Second and third - id twin boys - very sick all day for about 4 weeks - probably weeks 8-12.

Blackduck · 11/04/2005 13:48

Don't think its nec. an indication of gender. friend had no sickness at all with first one, was so sick with number two she thought she was dying - both boys...

Fimbo · 11/04/2005 13:48

1st-Sick first thing in the morning (then felt ok) for 16 weeks-GIRL

2nd-Nausea all day every day for the whole pregancy coupled with occasional bouts of sickness, threw up constantly whilst in hospital after giving birth, stopped after day 4 - BOY
