I thought it was fantastic and made me extremely broody but OMG what an advert if ever I saw one for the Pro Life lobby. At twelve weeks that baby was something else-at 26,(last point of abortion??Couldnt remember)- well I'm speechless. These bloody laws reagarding abortion were made when we didnt really know what was going on inside a womans body-now with 4D imaging we do and its murder-plain and simple!!
What do you think?

I really enjoyed it too - obviously I am very dense, but I didn't see it as anything other than an artistic (in concept, even if you hated the poetry!) demonstration of the scan techniques. I watched it with a mate who had a horrific termination earlier in the year and we atlked about it a lot afterwards - unless she's a brilliant actress she didn't feel got at, I think I was more worried about how she would find it (it was her idea to watch it, before I get shot down asa the world's most insensitive mate!!)

anybody know who the production company was, i feel a complaint coming on

Now I am a mummy I found myself going all warm and wanting another (as dd is 6 months - I'll wait a little longer).

The poetry really annoyed me off - I thought it was crap- the kind of stuff you write in Primary school.

DP and myself thought it was a bit pro-lifey in bits -sure that this programme will reopen the termination limit debate etc.

What about the kitten in the dustbin advert - now that makes me cry!

I saw it and am also waiting for an explanation as to why if you've had a boy are you more likely to miscarry ?

Thought it was fascinating BUT went on for too long (I fell asleeep!)

Whizzz, definately something to do with antibodies produced, can't remember what though, researched this while ago and good article in bbc-news about it, easy to find with the search

Are there any scientific facts that say you cant carry one or the other sex?? Just wondering as have two boys and had two miscarriages where I felt completely different-ie morning sickness with the miscarriages but now with the boys??
Could they have been girls??

I had the 4D imaging at 16 weeks as I had never been pregnant and had been trying for 12 years and was told 9 years before that I couldn't have children...I was finding it difficult to believe.

For me it was beautiful, didn't matter that it looked a bit 'weird' and 'skeletal', i could see two arms, two feet, a head, and it all moved and the baby yawned and stretched her arms above her head...the most important thing for me was the baby had a complete clean bill of health at 16 weeks so I could settle down regarding several fears of ill health.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat, best £300 I spent.

I found out about the programme here on MN last week. I tracked it and recorded on the sky box, made my dh watch it and at about i think it was after forwarding on the 3rd set of comercials (to avoid any cries over homeless dogs) we both fell asleep on the sofa - i think it was about the 20th week. i think the poetry put us both to sleep, was really expecting more facts. however, now when i try to play it again it and it doesn't work (so much for technology nowadays!). I missed the birth and from what i was reading it was the most interesting part.
is it being shown again?
