i found out i was pregnant with my second child when my first was 6 1/2 months old too. they are 15 months apart in age. i found the first 4 months really tough, but after that it was fine, and love the gap now. they are so close, and play together brilliantly (most of the time!!!!) you'll find that they end up entertaining each other a lot of the time, which is lovely.

congratulations anyway, it will be great!

CONGRATULATIONS

My two are 18 months apart and now they are 2 and very very nearly 1 they are starting to play together although they do fight over toys and god help me if ds2 knocks over a tower that ds1 has built

advice on double buggy- i've got 3. terrible i know! a front and back one which i find really heavy and dont use. A side by side one which regually gets stuck on buses! and a buggy type one that has wheels so small that it keeps getting stuck and is rubbish. Ive just bought a buggy board for ds2 which in theory is a great idea but in reality he keeps jumping off

Congrats! I know it's a bit of a shock. Ds1 was only 3 months when i fell for Ds2, so there is exactly one year and 5 days between them. March is a very expensive month!
It was hard at times but the nice stuff so outweighs that and if i had to do it again i wouldn't change the gap at all.
Advice? Prepare yourself for the smart alec nudge nudge wink wink comments "have you worked out what causes it yet?" or if your friends are very common(like mine) "can't you keep your legs crossed!"

my dh2b keeps saying after this one he's going for the snip...he's only 26!
Still, I hope, as everyone keeps saying; that after the first few months it gets better, i hope so. Tunise, god knows how you coped with 2 that young. Well done!

Check out the picture bottom right to see how the two tandem seats work

congrats hamster, my eldest 2 are 18 months apart and very close now. i personally hated doubled buggies as ds1 is huge for his age - i used single buggy for ds1 and baby sling then backcarrier for ds 2 until ds1 was old enough to walk or use buggy board. good luck, is hard but very worth it

thanks handlemecarefully, I'll bear that one in mind
