If I recall correctly, with a PlacentaPrevia babies tend to stay breech or transverse, because they don't have the space to move freely as the placenta is blocking their way down. So it's fairly common that they present like this.
The main goal is to avoid any kind of uterine contractions, so as you know, pelvic rest: no lifting, bending, carrying, orgasming, etc. There's not much else you can do.
Is your pp complete or partial?
27 weeks is early: it still has time to move. Although I would, as they say, hope for the best and prepare for the worst: I know that's what kept me strong, mentally and emotionally.
I know this is very personal, but I prayed and I also talked with my baby. It helped me to accept the situation and the lack of control, to trust the medical team, to understand the risk, and connect with my body so I could respond to the first glimpse of trouble. My baby had some breathing issues, so they took them away while the finished with me (I lost a considerable amount of blood and had to be in recovery for a while), so we lost the first 2 hours of skin to skin. I was so sad about it... But needs must and we bonded perfectly later 🙏 We did have some issues with breastfeeding, so I had to supplement with formula during the first 2 or 3 months. Again, we ended up doing 3+ years of EBF later. So we had our own path, and with providential help we made it.
I wish you and your baby the best 💐🙏
