I remember with my first, I was walking home from a night out with friends and I had never experienced needing a wee like that before. Next day I found out I was pregnant.

I didn’t get any indication (that I can remember) with my second.

I’m now 7 DPO and I’m noticing some symptoms or maybe I’m imagining them.

What were some very early signs for you?

I threw DH's cooked breakfast across the room when he mildly complained that his egg was a little too well done. Then I went out to the driveway and locked myself in the car and cried, DH came out and asked me to come back inside.
I refused but unlocked the car and let him get in. We sat there in silence for a bit before he suggested I go inside and do a pregnancy test.

Omg! I feel this in my soul. Two days before my unplanned and unexpected BFP with DD I had the rage. I exploded at DH for nothing. I shocked myself, him and our friends who witnessed it. It was so embarrassing and not like me at all! It was two days later still cringing with the memory of the incident I thought… I wonder… blazing positive.

I didn't even know implantation pains were a thing till I read this thread. Glad to read this as I definitely felt some physical sensations the same day, almost like a pain but really very odd.

Implantation bleeding!had what I thought was my period but it only lasted less than 2 days and was so light

(I’d had this with my first) so I was fairly certain before I took the test

I had an inkling both times (one chemical pregnancy) - increased CM towards the end of cycle, and white wine tasted a bit 'wrong' (but beer and prosecco oth fine!)

Chuchoter · 13/01/2025 11:40

I never took any tests as I knew I was pregnant each time.

I’m going to take a test next week. I’ll update to let you know if my symptoms/intuition was right ☺️. I just feel so bloated/crampy and I swear I can feel the changes in my body.

My intuition was right ladies! It’s amazing how we know our own bodies so well even after a couple of dpo!

I didn't notice anything with DC1. I had been busy at work and on the way home I suddenly realised my period was a couple of days late so I bought a pregnancy test and it was positive.

With DC2, well before my period was due, I was cooking some fish and thought the smell was absolutely disgusting. I didn't normally have this experience. I did a pregnancy test shortly afterwards and it was positive.

Congratulations @MummaMummaJumma

Me and DH had stopped 'trying' the month I fell pregnant, so I didn't recognise the symptoms at the time.

But around 6 DPO I had the rage, like nothing i've ever had before, and it was only about something trivial... poor DH was so confused. I brushed it off as pre-aunt flow symptoms.

Then my period was late, but again, I didn't think anything of it as it had been late many times before and we never got a positive test. Around day 3 I walked downstairs and smelt the worst smell i've ever smelt (the kitchen bin), it was overwhelming and was making me gag. DH had no idea what I was talking about, and that was the point where things clicked and I ran to do a pregnancy test, I got a very very bright line!

Congratulations!

Yes I knew/suspected both times!

First I was on the cross trainer at the gym and my breasts were suddenly very sore and sensitive to the movements to the point that I couldn't finish my workout and had to go home.

Second time I felt a vague and constant background nausea for no reason.

Ygfrhj · 17/01/2025 16:04

Yes, I had cramping a few days after ovulation both times
