Hi, so I had my daughter via c section 4 months ago due to a failed induction.... Prior to this i had 2 normal vaginal births. I regret so much listening to doctors and going ahead with the induction because I never wanted to have a c section.

I've just got a bfp and wondering how this is likely to go so soon....any stories?

I know the advice is to wait longer....but my time was running out for one more that I wanted before I'm 40. So I'm not looking for lectures just experiences please.

Thanks

I think they're likely to really encourage another C-section (based on what friends have said!) rather than a VBAC.

Congratulations!

Thanks everyone, I would prefer vbac but obviously depends on baby because their safety comes first to me. Will definitely be my last now so I'm hoping it's a better experience 🤞

Not quite as small a gap, but my Mum did. Her DC2 was born via Cat 1 C-section. Major placenta previa, so haemorrhaged bucket loads as well. She fell pregnant with DC3 6 months later, who was a forceps delivery. She then went on to have 2 more who were both vaginal births. This was over 30 years ago though.

As it's such a small age gap, the worry will be that your wound hasn't completely healed, so the scar tissue isn't fully formed and stable, putting you at higher risk of uterine rupture.

Congratulations on the pregnancy.
