Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

Good morning. Would I be able to join please?
I'm due 4 December 🤞🏻 it's been a very long few years to get to this point and I'm so excited, I'd love to speak to people going through the same thing!

Molly4689 · 04/04/2024 13:05

Hi, hope it's ok for me to join too.

I'm 14 DPO and got a 2 - 3 on clear blue this morning so due date around the 9th December. Hopefully will be my second baby, third pregnancy.

Hope everybody's feeling well. I may join the what's app in a few weeks if I have a positive early scan (fingers crossed!)

Newlywed24 · 05/04/2024 09:06

Morning all,

Tentatively joining this group as got my BFP yesterday and today, though I am only 12dpo at the moment so still worried about jinxing it by getting excited too early. Do other people feel this way?
Due date calculator on Google estimates around the 14th December for me so desperately hoping we have a baby under the tree come Christmas day this year

The twinges/cramps are not something I ever expected to be so vivid this early on. It's such a strange feeling and then I wonder if I'm just imagining these things.

When are people telling their families? I wanted to wait until 8 weeks when we're going to go for a private scan but my husband doesn't think he's going to be able to keep it a secret another 4 weeks and is bursting at the seams to tell somebody.

Hope everyone has a great weekend

KaliJones · 05/04/2024 12:56

Around 5+4 weeks today, I’ve had spotting on and off since yesterday morning and cramping, but midwife won’t book me in until after Monday. Fingers crossed it stops before then

Molly4689 · 05/04/2024 13:13

@Newlywed24 I'm getting so many twinges and cramps too (plus back and hip pain) I had to sleep with my pregnancy pillow last night as it was the only way to get comfy!

I've had to tell my manager and my sister guessed as I didn't have a glass of wine at Easter - she asked me outright and I wasn't expecting her to and I struggled to lie with a straight face! 12 weeks will be just before my DS's second birthday so probably then all being well, although I would like to wait till 16 weeks if possible to tell friends and colleagues. I had a previous loss and we'd told some older close family early on and I wished I hadn't, we waited until the day of our 12 week scan with DS (closer to 13 weeks).

@KaliJones I had spotting on/off with my DS until around 9 week and all was well. Hopefully it stopped for you soon and you can get seen by your midwife next week.

NortieTortie · 05/04/2024 18:20

Got my positive test Tuesday. Due around 8th Dec going from first date of last period. Still getting my head around it!

OceanStorm · 06/04/2024 20:51

Due 7th December!

Had a positive test about a week ago, but my cycle lengths are around 34 days so not sure whether that makes me earlier or later?

I've also been given my booking appointment next week while I'm five weeks.

With my last pregnancy, I had my booking appointment closer to 12 weeks.

Hi all, how are you feeling? I’m symptom spotting like mad but don’t have a lot to report - sore boobs, tiredness, a bit of nausea from time to time but no specific food aversions or anything. Hope you’re all ok x

Very similar symptoms, cramping for the last week but settling a little. I did think the cheese and onion crisps I had today were too strong today 🤣 The other half said they were normal! x

KaliJones · 07/04/2024 07:19

My spotting has stopped now so I’m hoping that’s all. Still feel super nauseous and a bit cramps but that’s good I suppose. Booked in for second appointment (bloods etc) on May 1st. Midwife said in Wales they do the first appointment as soon as they can after a positive test, so I suppose that’s why mine was so early. She said due date 2nd December but that’ll probably change at the scan.

HopefulElle · 08/04/2024 08:57

Hi ladies, huge congratulations to you all! ❤️

I’m 5ish weeks pregnant after almost 3 years of TTC & IVF. Had my BFP 01/04 and confirmed by bloods 04/04, but somehow I still can’t quite believe it. I’ll have my first scan on 22/04 (at the private clinic as part of my IVF package), at which point I’ll be about 7 weeks, so praying all goes well then and I can let myself believe I’m finally pregnant!

I haven’t notified my GP yet, not sure whether to just wait until I’ve had my scan?

Wise0wl · 08/04/2024 09:44

Hi @HopefulElle and congratulations! I think it’s totally up to you but in some areas they like to do the booking in appointment (bloods etc) during week 8 so if your scan isn’t until 7 weeks perhaps best to get on the list?

UnicornPrincessSarah · 08/04/2024 16:52

Hi Ladies

Hope we all ok and had a good weekend

So i had my early ressurance scan today, The baby is in the right position and my date is correct 5 weeks 5 days today. We saw egg sac and gestation sac, and could also see that I ovulated from my left side wich confirms the pain I had 12/13 March when flo predicted my ovulation was wondering if I was feeling ovulation pain and seems I'm intuned with my body lol

Going back for my second scan 24th April where I will be 8 weeks to hopefully see fetal pole and heartbeat

Been having loose bowels today and quiet gassy, cramps in my belly, having to uranate a bit more, and sense a smell up a little to, and still have erect nipples and feel a bit tired but so far these are my only symptoms

Due December 2024

Hello,

Hope it’s ok to join. Cautiously optimistic after a miscarriage in October - looks like I’m around 5w 5d today. Not sure if anyone else is extremely exhausted too?! I’m struggling to keep my eyes open past 3pm!
@UnicornPrincessSarah I had my now 4 year old at St Thomas’ and have referred myself there again, even though I’m significantly closer to another hospital. You get good views too!

x

OceanStorm · 08/04/2024 20:26

Is anyone struggling with their emotions? I feel so angry for some reason but also have highs where I feel great in the moment

LI94 · 08/04/2024 20:48

Hello everyone!

Thanks @UnicornPrincessSarah for giving me the link to join this thread! I found out this morning on a clearblue digital that I'm pregnant 1-2 weeks 😄

Still in complete shock, can't quite believe it!!! I'm also feeling tired but think it's because I didn't sleep well last night. Also a bit crampy and have a bit of back ache. Feeling so anxious and praying this baby sticks! 🙏

Thank you! I called my GP today and they gave me details for contacting midwife, which I’ll do this week at some point. It’s made it feel a (tiny) bit more real!

Sheth86 · 08/04/2024 23:24

Hey Ladies! Found out I was pregnant on Friday. According to online I should be due around 13th December! In a new relationship so not ideal but I'm happy non the less, the rest I'm sure will sort itself out! I went to ring the doctors today but was 28th in the queue, will try again tomorrow lol xx

QuokkaInSpace · 09/04/2024 07:54

Joining in if that's alright!

Had 1 loss about a year ago that was a bit of a rollercoaster, so I'm pretty jumpy about this. Don't want to count my chicks and all.

I've been cramping so much, I thought something was wrong, but judging by this thread and the doc, cramps are really common in the first trimester??

Best wishes to everyone here! It's so nice to read all of this happy news!

Molly4689 · 09/04/2024 09:22

Anybody else finding these early days/weeks are dragging? I was 5 weeks yesterday based on my last period but would only be 5 weeks this coming Thursday from ovulation. My first faint positive test was the 29th April which feels like a lifetime ago. I've stopped testing daily as I ran out of tests a few days ago, fighting the urge to buy some more!

Sheth86 · 09/04/2024 09:58

Aw try not to rush it, these are the best moments :) I have taken my last tests Monday and not buying anymore xxx when are you due? X

HopefulElle · 09/04/2024 11:34

@Molly4689 yes, me! I’m 5 weeks and 1 day. I’ve been TTC for years, but don’t feel like I can be truly happy yet, just in case.
I’ve got an early scan booked at 7 weeks (IVF), and I can that seems forever away. I don’t think there’s any point in doing more tests though. I read that even if you do miscarry, it can take quite a long time for HCG to leave your system and for a test to show as negative.
Such an anxious wait, I wish I could fast-forward!

Molly4689 · 09/04/2024 13:11

Aww I know, I wish I liked pregnancy more @Sheth86 I had HG in my last pregnancy until around 20 weeks and a miscarriage before that so I love the newborn stage but not so much the initial stages of being pregnant!

Congratulations @HopefulElle We should have the same due date!
My sister just had a baby after IVF and a long time TTC, she said the same about wanting to fast forward. I hope your scan comes around quickly!

@QuokkaInSpace So sorry to hear about your loss ❤

Congrats on this pregnancy! I'm also cramping a lot and so paranoid! This is my first pregnancy and didn't think about how anxious I'd be! I just keep testing to make sure there is still a line😭
