Due Date Day! Did you have any signs of labour & When did your First babies arrive?

Ive woken up on my due date still pregnant of course! Please to me your labour and delivery stories, what were your signs, did you have any & what made you go to the hospital? How long was your labour for your first baby & how far along were you when going into labour? Really want to avoid an induction if I can and only have a sweep as a last resort hoping for a spontaneous labour!

Thanks everyone! Safe to say I feel like I’ve got whiplash 😂 I didn’t realise how physically tiring pushing it especially when you are on your back! It was odd to be told 4cm but urgently need to go upstairs it felt like as soon as someone come to take me (i had to frigging walk and got trapped in the elevator with a contraction I couldn’t move it was that powerful) it just went within 30 mins 4-9cm crazy!

Congratulations! You said mine was quick and I told you soon you'd have your own story to tell. Glad baby arrived well although in a hurry once prompted 😂 I love a happy ending. Best of luck for the future.

@Artichoke88 You’re not kidding! I think it was just over 2 hours recorded for Labour on my notes! Maybe it’s true long slow latent labour phase then a fast active phase! Lazy baby for sure and his big mouth yawning shows that! 😆 as I’m sat here cuddling him to get some sleep - Thank you!
