4 weeks pregnant

Hi,
im currently 4 weeks pregnant, very anxious as I’ve had previous miscarriages. Is anyone else 4 weeks pregnant or early pregnant that wants to go on the journey together?

I’ve had my scan today at 6 wks 4 days - all looks to be fine - which obviously is great news - i think I wasn’t prepared for how stressful it would be - which I know sounds a bit stupid as I’ve lost two pregnancies and being nervous regardless of this would be normal - but it just really brought it home to me how serious this all is - so going to explore some coping mechanisms - if anyone has some please share !

I rang the EPU I have now got a scan tomorrow morning I rang in sick to work too as I am a nurse the way I feel right now I would not be safe to focus and look after others, I hope I am wrong about this but I just feel it in my bones somthing is wrong all symptoms vanished and this has been consistent since Tuesday evening, I will keep you all updated

Thanks for the wishes all. I still hadnt told anyone. I had some bleeding (bright red) this morning along with cramps. Feeling so worried and wondering if its because we had sex last night or a miscarriage? The scariest thing is not knowing who to call. Finally passed on to early pregnancy unit and booked for a scan tomo. I feel terrible.

Sending you lots of love and good luck. I bled on a previous pregnancy and it was actually a polyp and nothing to do with the cervix . Be kind to your self - this whole process is so stressful x

I read through this thread (just got a faint positive yesterday and immersing myself in the pregnancy world again) and just wanted to send lots of love to you all and best wishes for the scans. I thought I'd be really chilled second time around, but it's so easy to get wrapped in the anxiety of it all. Really hope you guys going for scans have positive news 🤞

Had my scan today it didn't give me much clarity measuring at 5 weeks 2 days instead of 6 have to go back in two weeks to check if ther is progress or not, it could be that my dates aren't right or that things have stopped growing 🙃 feeling confused but it could have been a lot worse news I know 🤷‍♀️

@Georg1994 must be difficult being in limbo but it's so easy for dates to be slightly out at this stage and everything to be absolutely fine.
I hope you can keep yourself busy with some nice self care type things between now and your next scan. 💞 Xx

@Georg1994 exactly the same for my scan. She said its actually 5 weeks which worries me because i had quite a few social occasions where i drank between my last period and ovulation :s she could only see the gestational sac on the scan and nothing else. They took bloods today and gonna follow up in a couple days for another and a scan in a couple weeks. LIMBO!!!

@Georg1994 and @Shootystealy i was in the exact same position. Went for a scan last Saturday at what I thought was 6 weeks exactly and only had a gestational sac, which they said I have my dates wrong as I’m a lot earlier than that. Went for a follow up scan on Wednesday at what should have been 6 weeks 4 days and saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, again they said I’m early on my days but my period is very regular and I tracked ovulation. Trying not to worry. Good luck to you both I’m sure you’ll both be fine

@Shootystealy awe it's a hard one on one hand it's not bad news but it's not the reassurance you needed! If it makes you feel better I got my positive test when I was the most hungover I've been in years after a wedding (was negative the day before so I kind of gave up and drank) 🫣 I think it happens a lot I really hope that both are next scans are better!

@Shootystealy no I haven’t although on my scan it showed bleeding on my uterus which either could be reabsorbed or I will
bleed. Have you had any bleeding?

@LW678 I hope your ok and next scan is clearer for you my sister has had multiple pregnancies and said that dates vary so much no matter how well you know your cycle so I hope this is the case for you, so glad to have this little thread to keep me sane!

@Georg1994 i was a mess on Saturday as I really thought I was going to miscarry. The nurses reassured me so much on Wednesday and said to take no notice of dates! Stay strong and always keep that in mind

@LW678 some bleeding for a couple of hours yesterday and then just some pink/ light brown when I wipe since then 😞

Don’t panic! The nurse said most women have a bleed!!! I have the bleed and it’s 50/50 whether I’ll actually bleed or it’ll be reabsorbed. You’ve clearly got the same :) I really wouldn’t worry

Just had my scan today, I’m measuring 6 weeks so abit off my dates and there was a very strong heart beat 🥰 so it’s made me less stress how’s everyone been?

@Babyno2onway that's fabulous news. 🥰
I've actually felt pretty well today- no real symptoms at all. Wishing them back. Then I'll be regretting that if they come back with a vengeance! Xx

I had my results today and they are negative. I must have tested positive and then lost it a few days later. Still doesn't feel quite real

7 weeks! Previous twin miscarriage here for the journey 🫶🏾

@Shootystealy sorry to hear that. I had an early miscarriage in June and it really shook me up. I really hope you’re ok xxx
