Congratulations @Malgos @Lemon1111 !!

Skyharbor · 05/07/2023 12:47

I've just heard back from the early pregnancy unit, reassurance scan booked for 21st July when I'll be 7+1. It's my husband's birthday that day so really hoping it's good news! 😳

Symptoms wise I'm feeling exhausted (not helped by 4:20am start with the toddler...), a little bit crampy and not much of an appetite but really craving salad etc. I'm making the most of that because my nausea normally kicks in around 5/6 weeks and I can only stomach salty carbs!

Hi everyone. I have tested and I think they are positive. Are they too light for 13dpo and 14dpo though? I feel like they were darker at this point in my last pregnancy. Oh, how the worrying starts already! If all goes ok this will be baby #3 (pregnancy #4) and due date is 11th March

Mine are the same. I'm trying not to test anymore because I got a positive on a digi so I just need to chill but it's so hard!

My symptoms have died down today. I don't feel sick anymore and I have more energy. My backs just really painful still.

I've done my online booking form so hopefully it won't be long till I have my app!

My periods due today! Such a weird feeling

Lemon1111 · 05/07/2023 12:58

Thankyou, I’m just terrified! I feel really sad that I can’t get excited just yet xxx

I’ve been feeling so nauseous I could barely get off the sofa yesterday, feeling a bit better today after following a few tips and trying to make the most of it while it lasts without worrying too much about why I’m feeling a bit better. Going to try and get some housework done and then go for a bit of a walk.

Also think it’s probably time for me to get rid of the progression tests in my bathroom! Feels a bit sad to just throw them away though - or am I weird??

I've still got my tests from my first 😂🙈 got a little box for them 🤣

BraveHeart91 · 05/07/2023 13:12

So I couldn’t help myself and tested just now and I feel relieved and happy to see 3+ on the digital test.
And the line came up before the control line it’s upper dark in person.

Ooooh @BraveHeart91 I have my digital for the weekend! Great line too!

BraveHeart91 · 05/07/2023 13:23

@PR96 my Partner told me that’s it no more digitals now 🙄😂

Livingfortheweekends · 05/07/2023 13:32

@pambeeslyhalpert2 Thank you! That's reassuring. I'm considering a digital too. It's a weird feeling, isn't it? I did my online booking form today as well. That certainly makes it feel more real. Is this your first?

PR96 · 05/07/2023 13:32

@BraveHeart91 I've not done one yet! Although I do keep getting told of for not throwing away all of my "pee sticks!" I can't bring myself to get rid of them! I still have all my ones from my first child!

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 05/07/2023 14:17

@BraveHeart91 that's a great line!!

@Livingfortheweekends it's my second, I have a 19 month old girl 🥰 I actually text my old midwife to see where she's working now as she was just fantastic. She's moved but still close so I can see her! Is this your first?x

vix_85 · 05/07/2023 14:17

@BraveHeart91 congrats on the progression. Can I ask how many w/d you are? I don't know when to retest as I'm really worried my lines aren't progressing.

BraveHeart91 · 05/07/2023 14:33

@vix_85 I think I’m like 5w 6days I’m not really sure I will hopefully find out Saturday when we go for our private scan

vix_85 · 05/07/2023 14:35

How exciting for you! Best of luck x

Livingfortheweekends · 05/07/2023 14:37

@pampambeeslyhalpert2 ah, lovely. Big sister in the making then! It's so nice when you get a good midwife like that. I hadn't thought of doing that to be honest, but it's a good idea. This will be my third. I have an almost 4yo and a just turned 2yo Grin

Lizzy26 · 05/07/2023 16:49

When should I worry about cramping? I’ve had cramping the majority of the time the past couple of weeks, mostly just a dull ache but the other night (when I was working a night shift) it was REALLY bad, no bleeding or spotting though. I’ve just been for a walk and when I got back the cramping was worse. This is my first pregnancy so no idea when to worry or what’s ‘normal’ - thanks! I’m 5+1

Hopefulhoney6 · 05/07/2023 17:03

@LeopardLover I had an EPU scan, they were lovely today as always.
Weren’t worried about the spotting, pregnancy was in the right place and it’s 5-6 weeks but all they could see was the yolk sac which is normal.
So I have a scan at 7+1 where hopefully they can see more.
last time I got to a 6 week embryo but then had a MMC.
Recommended I take progesterone due to previous miscarriage and spotting, which I was already doing - I think it’s @Kay00 who was told not take the cyclogest but everyone I know has just taken it as a precaution!!).

So if anyone is worried, go to the EPU!

elarcoiris · 05/07/2023 18:13

@Hopefulhoney6 Glad to hear all seems ok far and that you have another scan in a couple of weeks! Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Kay00 · 05/07/2023 18:15

@Hopefulhoney6 I'm so glad to hear your good news. I really hope this one stays put to full term 🤞

I'm tempted to take the progesterone as a just in case, but I'm no expert, and don't want my body to be reliant on them (if that's a thing?). My spotting seems to have dried up today 🙌 so I'll see how it goes. Any more spotting and I might just shove a pressarie up there for good measure 😅

PR96 · 05/07/2023 19:00

I definitely have a problem guys 😂 19dpo today.. calling the Dr's tomorrow!

vix_85 · 05/07/2023 19:27

@PR96 they are some super strong lines! Hoping mine look similar very soon but for now they're just creating anxiety.

Anyone else with RPL overthinking every little thing?

W88 · 05/07/2023 20:14

Adding my test progression too, I think this will be my last test until my scan! First one was official test day, second last Friday and third yesterday.

eightieskid · 06/07/2023 06:39

Morning all! How's everyone doing? Symptoms? I'm around 6.5 weeks and yesterday the nausea was horrific. Waking up today with a busy day in work ahead and it's feeling bad but not as bad as yesterday. Been eating biscuits through the night to help. In my first pregnancy it was so bad I couldn't work for months at a time. Praying it doesn't get like that again. Anyone else with nausea/sickness?

vix_85 · 06/07/2023 06:51

My lines are not progressing and I'm trying not to lose hope but also facing reality that this is potentially going to end in MC 6 of 6. If it is, the reality of it sucks.

Anyone else not see much progression day to day, in the 4 week to 5 week point? I'm 4w5d today so it's early I know. I'm also obsessively testing daily....maybe thats the issue?

I'm so pleased for you! It's great you don't have to wait too long for your next scan 🙏🏻 Seems they gave you fantastic care and are doing everything to help this little one 🥰
