Hi all just wanted to start this little thread ! Due 19/02/24 found out super early and hoping all is ok ! ! Hope everyone is well ! Hopefully this little forum will keep us sane ! dc3 for me ! ! X x

@Namechange192727171 I have an 11 year gap then going to have 1.5 years ! I find the gap very difficult mom guilt kills me ! I'm hoping closer together will be easier .: but also hope I have enough time still for my precious eldest 🥲 how hard is motherhood ! X x

@Ebonythoughts in the same boat, been taking the max dose of cyclizine since week 4. It’s awful, I’ve had Hyperemesis in both my previous pregnancies. I won’t lie to you and say it’ll lift after 12 weeks because it doesn’t usually but if you’re not already, then insist on trying a different medication.
im just about surviving on this tablet but I’ve had to try a few!
and don’t let the docs tell you that because you’re not vomiting that you don’t have Hyperemesis! It can be severe nausea too and it’s so dibilitating. it’s Defo worse on an empty tummy too so even tho you don’t wanna face food, it might improve it for you. You have my sympathy and support it is just the pits. Xx

@Ebonythoughts oh bless you, morning sickness is grim! With my first it lasted until around 14 weeks and my second (twins) 20 weeks. I can remember being debilitated. I had some tablets from the drs but I cannot for the life of me remember what they were called. It may be worth you popping to see your GP if you're struggling. I used to find peppermint tea helped slightly. My friend used these and said they helped - myrtleandmaude.com/collections/morning-sickness/products/peppermint-oil-bon-bons-b6

👋 first time pregnancy, haven’t seen midwife yet but NHS calculator says 24th Feb. And I realised today that those of us due later February could have a leap year baby with 29th Feb birthday!

@catemck I have been exhausted for the past 2 weeks, v sore heavy boobs and I have some aversion to coffee but that’s it so far! I am really worried about it as I was pregnant in August last year (terminated due to various factors I won’t go into) and was deathly sick from the moment I conceived! I’m worried hardly any symptoms means something is wrong! Only 1 week and 6 days until a scan 🙁 how are you feeling?
i never hoped for nausea but it is so reassuring if you’re FEELING pregnant!!

Thank you for the advice. Trying to avoid tablets if I can to be honest but will go back to the dr and see what other options there are.

@Ems1992 I feel the same about where is my nausea! So far I've been v tired and v sore boobs, insomnia at night, occasionally get queasy cooking dinner, but other than that nothing else! My previous 2 pregnancies I was sick as a dog from day one, so I'm like what the hell is going on Confused maybe we're just v lucky this time around haha. How many weeks are you now? Xx

How's everyone getting on?

I'm struggling with exhaustion and headaches. I feel sick all day everyday too but luckily not actually being sick!

20 days until our 12 week scan 🥰

Hey everyone, so I went to yet another scan today (3rd one in 2 weeks) 1st scan showed a sac and tiny yolk, 2nd scan showed sac yolk and tiny fetal pole measuring 1.6mm. Todays scan shows the fetal pole measuring 6.5mm but no heartbeat.
they have told me to expect to miscarry over the weekend and if I don’t then they will get me seen to help it come along. I have had 8 miscarriages over the past 3 years. Has anyone ever been told anything near the same as me and had a healthy pregnancy?

I don’t want to go back to the hospital if it doesn’t come naturally because il be thinking ‘what if’ it develops a late heart beat :(

I too had a scan at EPU today after some spotting yesterday. The sac was there but no baby. I expected to be either 6+3 or 7+3. Going by last period I would be 7+3 but I ovulated CD22 so expected to be a week behind. They said it might be too early to see anything so I have another scan in two weeks. I am feeling really sad about it especially as I’m so exhausted and sick… 🙁

So sorry @Riri1990 these early days are so hard aren’t they… It’s so difficult I have been told if it is a failing pregnancy I will miscarry before my next scan.

@Peony654 hi there! My edd is 29th!! I will be having a C-section too 😂 I’ve said to my dh I will be asking for the 29th but he thinks we should not!? When we were ttc I said My app predicts a leap day baby! 😂 lo and behold it happened that month.

its soooo long to our 12 week scan. I can’t wait anymore but also don’t want to wish away the summer holidays with the other dc!!! @Sparkles512 I’m so tired and hungry all the time - I said to dh it’s crossed my mind it’s twins.

im so sorry to hear about those that have been given uncertain news. I’ve been there before and the limbo is just awful. wishing you all the best x x

mum just so confused. The baby is growing and is now 6.5mm but they have told me to prepare for miscarriage. I feel so emotionally drained with it all.
I hope you get positive news darling xx

@Ebonythoughts im feeling yeah with the sickness, only thrown up twice but constant nausea, nothin is helping....praying it calms at 12weeks, currently 8w+1

Last week and I've had a scan with all perfect ! Not always the case I know ! But honestly I had given up all hope please don't yet ❤️ these early days are so difficult ! Get a private scan if you are able that's what I did ! X x

@Ems1992 I'm also in scan limbo - I had a private scan a week ago that showed a really weak heartbeat (was meant to be 7+4 but measured at 7). Follow up at EPAU today and there's a really healthy heartbeat, everything looks like a healthy pregnancy... except it's measuring 6+6 (I'm going to have to assume the first measurement was out). This is 12 whole days behind where I expected to be.

The sonographer was so confused because she said that if I wasn't sure of my dates (which I am) she would have said it's a perfectly healthy looking pregnancy, just earlier than I thought.

I'm preparing for a miscarriage in my mind (to be honest I expected to be told I'd had a missed miscarriage at the scan) and I have to wait until the 19th for my next appointment. It's so stressful.

I am 11+3 today and have my nhs scan on Wednesday so counting down the seconds to it really!! Getting close but still seems so far!! Lol

Nausea is nowhere near as bad as it was but it creeps up every now and again. I was sick twice at the weekend after eating Indian and i was gutted as i REALLY enjoyed it that after I was sick, I went back to it, my DH was like wth!! Hahaha

@PeeBeee excited for you!! I'm 12 weeks today! Nhs scan went well thankfully :)! Symptoms really gone just exhausted with working full time and toddler and dc1 ha ha !! Glad you are well sorry I've been quiet on here ! Times flying by x x x

@PeeBeee I can no longer eat Chinese food - snap 😭😭my fav! Spices and sauces seem to be a nope ! What do you think you are having ? We plan to keep this a suprise but I'm like .. boy boy boy 😆 x x

@90mamabear i have been keeping track of the larger group but not been posting as this wait is soooooo exhausting so kind of ‘forgetting’ im pregnant to hope the time goes faster!! Haha

yeah I am not sure what it is, must have been some exotic spice lol and now its all I am craving :( haha! Normally when something makes me sick I never want to look at it again but its all im craving!

glad to hear your scan went well :) when was it? I keep going between boy and girl, i feel like all my symptoms are similar to my other pregnancy (girl), like lots of nausea, food aversions and being sick early on but that was kind of throughout the pregnancy where is this time its got alot better earlier and im not craving sweets this time (altho its still early!!) so i think deep down im thinking boy but at the same time i cant picture having one - probably cuz im a girl mum! Lol
