I'm between 4-6 weeks pregnant and as soon as I found out I stopped vaping. I've gone 2 days without (found out 2 days ago) and I'm really struggling even though I've done so well. Is there anyone else going through the same or have any advice ?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No I had nhs, did you miss your period in March? If so when was you supposed to come on? I conceived around end of feb

Also how long is your cycles ?

I requested it off the doctors. I would say your having cramps and bleeding that way you will be able to get a scan and know your dates here to help you with anything xx

Disgusting advice. I had to wait days for a scan at the EPU when I was miscarrying cos they were so busy, why should someone who is making things up get seen and add to their workload? I met someone at EPU who did the same, lied because she wanted a free early scan. Awful.

Sorry for any confusion @duedec2023 i didn't say you were a smoker I was going off what I read re pregnancy that they encourage smokers to vape so vaping during pregnancy is seen as a lesser evil, although they don't know enough about any risks yet. Vape if you want to, but maybe cut down the nicotine. If your partner doesn't want you vaping he should be being considerate and vaping away from you.

I miss vaping but I think I miss the habit more as I loved my vape! But I'm getting through it 😊

Sorry where was I rude? And I did offer help? I suggested when would be the best time to go for an early scan to help for dates.

I’m thinking you’re feeling defensive and a bit shit about being called out for suggesting the OP lie. If you’ve now recognised that that would be the morally wrong thing to do then don’t beat yourself up, everyone makes mistakes.

It just called helping as that's what this page is for.

Then she's in for a big shock about the price of raising a child if she can't afford a private scan. I doubt she's been TTC if she can't afford it.

If going for an early private scan I would wait until you would definitely be at least 6 weeks so 6 weeks based on the CB just to be sure. Just in case the light bleed was an odd period and you’re earlier than you think. It will only worry you and confuse you more if they can’t see anything if it’s too early.
