Tbh this is why i dont normally post threads on here people always think the worse... She clearly has low hcg levels doesn't indicate it isn't a healthy baby in her womb

Hcg is what drives the pregnancy. If levels are low then unfortunately it means the pregnancy isn't progressing well.
Your friend would really benefit from a scan and bloods to check that everything is OK. Can she contact her local epau?

I don’t understand why you are so invested OP and want to keep arguing with everyone. It doesn’t look like a continuing pregnancy. And if your friend is in a refuge, a baby probably isn’t the most ideal addition to be dealing with either.

hopefully the doctors can shed some accurate light.

Well my friend went to the emergency department panacking all because i asked fie advise turns out that her hcg levels are just the amount for her pregnancy, the doctor and nurse there explained the hook effect can happen after 5 weeks of pregnancy, and that having a faint line after 5 weeks of pregnancy isn't an indication of the pregnancy not progressing..

Yep hook effect can happen after 5 weeks. Obviously doesn't happen to everyone. Depends on your hcg levels
