Anyone else due July after a MC? 🌈

I had a miscarriage earlier in the year and I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant, the past 2 months has been umm… an emotional rollercoaster, I’m over the moon to be pregnant, but I’m in a state of constant worry that something will go wrong, every little pain terrifies me…
just wondering if there’s any other mummy’s out there in the same position? ♥️

@Mamaoftwooo not too bad trying to focus on positive, got my dating scan this weekend I’ll be 11+6. My nausea as eased a lot still feel it more at night. Wanting certain foods and very tired although if I wake at night for toilet I struggle to get to sleep but am napping in the afternoon.

just hoping all is going ok from last time I went at 8+5 so hard after experiencing mmc two times ❤️

@Mamaoftwooo @ImHopeful2023 I’ve got my 12 week scan Friday too☺️ I’m praying everything is okay but I do feel excited to see baby again!💗
My sickness seems to have come back the last couple of days but it’s not too bad!

Yes focus on the positives, we all need to stay as positive as we can although it can be very hard!

I’ve got a 10 month old baby, who is still breastfed on demand, he seems to be feeding so much and hardly sleeping at night, I’m not sure if my milk is drying up 😓 I have awful all day nausea, gp prescribed tablets but they’re not helping, at least I don’t have full blown HG this pregnancy though!

i eventually have my dating scan tomorrow night, I’ll be 13+6!!! I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever!!!

sickness is awful, I suffered from full blown HG which my first two pregnancies and it’s horrific, I have all day nausea this time and I’ve lost 21lbs, GP is still classing me as HG but at least I’m not being sick

@Mamaoftwooo the dating scans always feel like a lifetime don't they?!

I had my dating scan last Thursday I was only 11+3 but they said this was fine and they got all the measurements needed.

However I've booked in another private scan for this Friday. I'll be 12+4 just to give me that final reassurance that I'm over 12 weeks and all is okay. I just found myself feeling so anxious. Xx

@hopingthirdtimelucky my scan all went good☺️ I’ve got to go back for a rescan in 2 weeks because the baby was moving so much they couldn’t get any measurements! They put me roughly as 12w3/12w4d so I’m just over 13 weeks now! Hope you’re okay too xxx

@ChloeN that’s lovely to hear glad all went well. Yes had my scan last weekend and all went well was a little wriggler too but managed to get measurements. Had a little scare this week as had little spotting but I did with my son but couldn’t help worry since the mmcs. But all was ok baby was fine and they could see a tiny amount of blood outside the sac which is the best place and very common. So been having abit of dark spotting the last couple of days but seems to have stopped now so hoping all is ok. Think we may have a private scan in between our next one as seems to long but sure all is ok. Take care.

I'm having my 20w scan (will be 19w then) next week. Really really really wanting to hear good news ❤️

@Happinessandrainbows thank you and good luck with your next scan. I don’t know want to wish the time away but can’t wait to get to that stage. Next one is my 16 week app with midwife at gp but not sure if will get to hear the heartbeat there.

@hopingthirdtimelucky thank you. I think it really depends on the midwife, mine one said they are told to not listen to HB until 24 weeks but she still did ☺️x

@hopingthirdtimelucky they aren’t meant to look for heartbeat at 16 weeks as can’t always be easily found at that stage so can cause stress that’s not needed. They don’t do it at 16 weeks where I am but will at 24/28 weeks. With my daughter I think it was at my 28 weeks appointment but was 8 years ago I was at that stage of pregnancy then.

@allgoodthings84 thank you, yes I asked at the hospital and they mentioned that about 16 weeks can be too early to hear and understand why some don't.
I was trying to remember with my son but as it was 3 years ago it’s hard too 😚
@Mamaoftwooo thats lovely to hear, minus the nausea, I’m still struggling and am now 13 weeks. Got that metallic taste still and only feel better when eat. How exciting for the gender reveal. Good luck. I always remember having to do star jumps when we found out with my son as he wouldn’t move for them to see 💙

I got to hear my sons heartbeat at my 16w app and he’s 10 months old now so hoping they’ll do that again at my next app

Yes the metallic taste 🤮 I’m struggling to eat so bad, I’ve lost 26lbs, which is good I suppose as I’m overweight but I’d love to have lost it without feeling so poorly 😭🤣

must be a boy thing! With my little boy I had to do lots of wiggling and moving about too 🤣♥️♥️

whatever baby is they’ll be so loved, and we already have 1 of each so this is our tiebreaker baby hahaha!

I just need to see that my baby is still okay and growing nicely ♥️

@Mamaoftwooo As soon as I know I have a scan coming up, I start getting the worse anxiety about things 🙈 I get anxious anyway but it's worse leading up to scans. I just want everything to go well. Sounds daft but I've had quite a bit of stomach gurgling the last couple of days. Not had any at all prior to this in the pregnancy, but I had it a lot in my last pregnancy that ended in MMC. So now that's worrying me, even though it's probably completely normal and I know the two aren't linked 😂

Gender wise I'm honestly not bothered. I'd like a boy, because I already have a daughter, but I have a feeling that it's a girl, so we'll see. I'll be 15+1 so hoping they can see what they need to, but they offer a free re-scan if they can't. Just hoping baby is still healthy and well in there ♥️
