I had a miscarriage earlier in the year and I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant, the past 2 months has been umm… an emotional rollercoaster, I’m over the moon to be pregnant, but I’m in a state of constant worry that something will go wrong, every little pain terrifies me…
just wondering if there’s any other mummy’s out there in the same position? ♥️

handholding post I guess 🫣

Hi all💜
Hope you are okay. I am also due in July 2023, I'm currently 10w5d following three miscarriages in a row. This feels so surreal, had a private scan today and baby was doing really well. I have my NHS dating scan next week actually I'll be 11+5 so I wonder if they might redo another but should hopefully be okay.

Definitely such an anxious time I found out at around 7.5 weeks and it has still felt like a lifetime 😂 to get to today.

Wishing you all the very very best with your pregnancies xx

allgoodthings84 · 06/01/2023 17:53

@ChloeN you’ve done so well! When I had my daughter having a miscarriage never even crossed my mind but having had 2 recently makes it all a lot more worrying. I wish I could be in the same ignorant bliss as before

allgoodthings84 · 06/01/2023 17:56

hi @Anon2021x I’m so sorry about your 3 losses. I’m glad to hear things went well at your scan 😊 sounds like this is your rainbow baby 💕

ChloeN · 06/01/2023 18:40

@allgoodthings84 its weird isn’t it you never think it would happen to you! No one in my family has ever had one so without these threads you can sometimes feel a bit alone!

Hiya ☺️

I'm currently 10+6 after a mmc back in August and totally understand how you're feeling. I had an EPU scan at 6+6 due to brown discharge and then a private scan for some reassurance at 8+6. My dating scan is on Wednesday and it honestly feels like an eternity away. I can't stop thinking about going to the scan and getting bad news. I'm terrified baby isn't okay in there. Sometimes I feel okay and positive and other times I just feel like crying from worry.

Hi there! Congratulations on your pregnancy and I’m so sorry to hear about your previous mmc. I know exactly how your feeling, I’ve had two scans too and still haven’t heard about my dating scan and I’m feeling soooooo anxious about it, I’d love to get private scans every week if it was affordable for us 🫣 sending you lots of love ♥️

Hello, I'm also 10+6! I had a MMC in June last year (discovered at 11 weeks but heartbeat had stopped at 8 weeks).

I've had two private scans so far at 8 and 10 weeks, all has been OK so far but I'm still terribly paranoid that it'll all go wrong.

I've had my booking in appt but dating scan isn't until I'm almost 14 weeks Hmm feels like such a long time to wait so I'm considering another private scan argh!

Hopefully being out of the first trimester will help us all settle a little xx

Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy and I’m very sorry to hear about your previous mmc!

the wait for a dating scan seems so long doesn’t it! I’m 11 +5 going off my previous scan and I’ve still heard nothing about my dating scan 🫣

we all need to try and stay as positive as we can though even though it’s so hard! Sending you lots of love! ♥️

Hi, I'm 10+4 and had a missed miscarriage in April where baby had stopped growing at 6ish weeks. I've had 3 scans so far due to spotting and the latest one was 9+1 where everything looked fine but I am the same as you and cannot stop worrying. My dating scan is next Saturday. I'm the meantime the GP has told me I've got BV and prescribed me metronidazole antibiotic gel. I haven't used it because I'm terrified of taking anything but I'm also terrified of not treating the BV so every day I'm panicking, not knowing what to do! I hope I can relax after the dating scan which will hopefully be ok 🤞

Hello there! I’m sorry to hear about your previous mmc, congratulations on your current pregnancy! I also had spotting and lots of pain early on, had a scan at 6+3, everything seemed prefect, and another at 9+5 but I still can’t shake the worried feeling!

just remember your GP wouldn’t prescribe something that wasn’t safe ♥️
sending you lots of love on your journey ♥️

Congratulations to you all and sorry for the losses.

I’m currently 9+5 weeks pregnant had my first scan last week at 8+5 and was so anxious and was expecting the worse after having two mmc last year. But thankfully there was a heartbeat and all measured to what I was thinking I was as had two periods after the last mmc. It was so overwhelming and lots of happy tears.

I’ve been taking low dose aspirin this time round hoping it helps from recommendations and success stories. I
still have got symptoms but was up a lot in the night, just worrying and overthinking. Got my booking app next week then my dating scan is the week after which feels too far away. Don’t feel like I can get a private scan as that’s what I did last time and feel scared. But I keep telling myself 8+5 is the furthest we have got as believe it was around 7/8 weeks the last two. So hopefully all positive. Keeping hope and praying all will be ok so my son is able to have a sibling. Good luck and best wishes to you all xx

Hellooooo!
im very sorry to hear about your previous mmc’s.

congratulations on your current pregnancy and I’m very pleased to hear to her earlier scan went well ♥️

you keep up that positive attitude! That’s what we all need to do, stay as positive as we can and pray this is our time ♥️

sending you lots of love ❤️

I’m not due until August but I’ve had 2 early miscarriages. They weren’t mmc I knew I was miscarrying as bleeding heavily. I’m now 7 + 1 and terrified of it happening again or getting to a scan and finding out I’ve had a mmc. I think I’m going to have a private one at 9 weeks as my booking in appointment isn’t even until 10 weeks and I don’t get a scan appointment until after midwife registers me so unlikely to be 12 weeks

Sorry to hear about you previous mc’s. This was the same as my Mc, bleeding and pain, dr was convinced it was a ectopic so sent me for a scan but I just knew, I had this awful feeling, when you know something you don’t want to know kind of feeling.

I’ve had two scans so far, one for bleeding and pain again, at 6+3 which was terrifying as I thought I was miscarrying again, but all was well and also a scan at 9+5 which was also perfect but I still can’t shake this awful feeling something could go wrong, hopefully I’ll be able to relax after my dating scan whenever that may be!

I had my booking appointment at 9w 2d and I’ve still heard nothing about my scan, midwife said hospital will be in touch

it seems that others on here get their scan appointments at their booking appointment which I think is so much better!!

sending you lots of love, stay positive ♥️

Hi there!
So sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and what amazing news that your scan was very positive ♥️

I’m 11+5, I had a positive test at around 6dpo so I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever already!!

stay positive, sending lots of love! ♥️

Hi ladies

sorry to hear of everyones losses

im 12 weeks pregnant following three miscarriages in a row. Because of my history I’ve had three scans up until now baby growing perfectly but doesn't shake the feeling of worry. I have my official 12 week scan next week where ill be 13 weeks, absolutely bricking it as my last miscarriage was discovered at my 12 week scan so theres lots of anxiety surrounding it, Ill be a mess but got to stay positive I'm taking aspirin and progesterone this time so hoping that has contributed to our success so far! Cant wait to hold my rainbow baby in my arms 💕

sending everyone best wishes for happy and healthy pregnancies! X

hopingthirdtimelucky · 07/01/2023 14:34

Thank you for your kind words @Mamaoftwooo wishing you the best for the future. And everyone else.

@Cindy974 wishing you the best. Sorry for your losses too but sounds very positive for you now. Thinking of you. We can do this. I’m 10 weeks tomorrow been feeling pregnant one minute but then next not. Can I ask question about the aspirin do you take after evening meal? I’ve been doing this and find afterwards I can’t help throwing up and then worrying I’m getting rid of the aspirin but then I try and tell myself with it being dissolvable should be fine but not sure whether to try after lunch as find evening I get indigestion and feel worse xx

Cindy974 · 07/01/2023 16:14

@hopingthirdtimelucky you too lovely we got this 💕 normal aspirin is definitely better on a full stomach as it’s absorbed through the stomach so can cause indigestion. I would suggest taking the gastro resistant ones instead, they are coated so alot nicer in your tummy and if you’re prone to indigestion definitely better! Sending you love x

usedtolovenaps · 07/01/2023 19:23

How's everyone doing?
Sending you positive vibes for tomorrow @ChloeN ❤️

ChloeN · 07/01/2023 20:14

@usedtolovenaps thanks lovely☺️ I’m trying not to think about it too much but it’s hard 🫣 I didn’t realise the scan place is actually an hour and a half away either but oh well🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

usedtolovenaps · 07/01/2023 20:23

@ChloeN oh wow, that will be a fair drive! Update us tomorrow please ☺️

allgoodthings84 · 07/01/2023 20:48

@ChloeN that is a bit of a drive. I’ll be thinking of you I hope it all goes well

NewBabyGirl2020 · 07/01/2023 21:26

This is so lovely and warming to read. I’m 11 weeks now, following from a miscarriage. Had an early scan and there was a beautiful heartbeat but that kept me secure for one day and the nerves came straight back. Feel like I’ve been waiting forever for the 12 week scan.

ChloeN · 07/01/2023 21:30

@allgoodthings84 @usedtolovenaps thanks ladies will keep you updated☺️

@NewBabyGirl2020 is your next scan soon? X

NewBabyGirl2020 · 07/01/2023 21:37

I still haven’t been given a scan date :-( The waiting game is awful. Very likely to be a couple of weeks away at this rate

ChloeN · 08/01/2023 11:44

I’ve had my scan girls, everything looks amazing, measuring 10w4d and got to hear a lovely heartbeat🥹 I never dreamed I’d be able to go to a scan and have a perfect experience I was sobbing before she even started🥹

allgoodthings84 · 08/01/2023 11:49

@ChloeN I’m so happy to hear it went so well! That is fantastic news 💕 I think you’ve helped make my mind up to book an early scan in the week for when I’m 9 weeks

ChloeN · 08/01/2023 11:53

@allgoodthings84 thanks lovely, it was so difficult on the run up but I’m so grateful now🥹 the place we went was amazing she spent so long showing me everything and put the baby in 3D

usedtolovenaps · 08/01/2023 12:11

@ChloeN amazing news! 🌈🥳

ChloeN · 08/01/2023 12:36

@usedtolovenaps thank you!🥹💕
