How did you conceive a girl?

Just for fun really. I've got 3 boys and am currently pregnant with baby 3. We have 2 boys already which I'm almost certain we're conceived either the day before / the day of ovulation. However this time we only had sex 4/5 days before suspected ovulation, and I'm curious whether the old wives tale was true for anyone else which says that the further away from ovulation you have sex, the more likely it is to be a girl.

Has this been true for anyone else? I genuinely would be over the moon with another boy but would be lying if I said I wouldn't love a girl one day so just curious to see what others experiences are

TIA

Shagging in our parents' old bed caused me and my sisters to get pregnant with girls.

Iv just had a baby girl after having all boys, I read about gender sway and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately we timed the sex wrong and had sex a couple of hours before ovulation, but I had completely changed my diet to the girl diet so I believed my chances were still good, and they were she’s here now she’s all girl

It's a biological fact that boy sperm is faster and dies quicker, while girl sperm is slower and lives longer. Therefore, it is possible to manipulate this.

Without exception, every baby I know who was conceived through IUI on the day of ovulation is male.

We conceived DD by having sex 2 days before ovulation. Just ended up happening this way - wasn't exactly planned in order to conceive a girl. Am pregnant again now and we had sex 3 days before I ovulated, so I'm wondering if it's a girl again but we are keeping it a surprise. I've also heard that a more acidic vagina can be better for girl sperm, as they are tougher so can still get through to the cervix 😅when the boys can't - I think diet can play a role! Drink apple cider vinegar every morning 😂

My LMP was 14-19th of September.
One time unprotected on 22nd.
Ovulated on 27-28th earliest (I’m regular).
He’s a boy 😂
I’m also from a family that’s only had 3 generations of Women 😂
This was in another group and everyone I know that’s had babies that took it so far said it’s been accurate.
