I'm 4 weeks 1 day pregnant..got BFP at 12 dpo (which is 2 days late for my period as I have a short lutueal phase). Tested positive on 13 and 14 dpo (yday) too but stopped myself from testing today.

I've had cramps on and off faintly throughout but def noticed more today and last night and now I've had some brown Cm/discharge/bleeding. Enough to see on pantyliner and when wiping. I'm so so worried. I know it could be implantation bleeding but if I got positives from 12dpo then surely by 15dpo this should have happened a while ago?

If you had bleeding when did you have it? How much was it? So so worried this is a chemical and wish there was something I could do to stop it going :(

I think as it's so early, the gp's/midwives etc aren't very interested (as awful as that sounds). I had 3 similar experiences to yourself and I didn't get in touch with anyone because I knew it was over.

If I had been further along then they do tend to look in to it. Or if it's happened several times. Good idea though to have it on record.

Unfortunately it is "one of those things" and I don't mean that insensitively. I spent many an evening crying because my line had disappeared a couple of days after it was positive.

It's Shite and I hope you get pregnant again soon.

thanks for all the replies and well wishes...

I still haven't started bleeding properly so who know when that'll happen.. hope it doesnt turn into a MMC (if it counts as such?) where I have to take medication for it to pass.. I guess it'll likely take care of itself in the next few days...

All the positive stories did help me for a while but once I was getting fainter and fainter lines I knew it wasn't going to stick. So upsetting when I could see them getting darker to begin with. Ultimately though it was clearly not a good embryo so can't be helped.

Thanks for the reminder/suggestion to push re TSH levels. I will do so and also will ask about progesterone if I get pregnant again. Ironically enough, I actually spent a fortune on the Mira fertility monitor a few months ago and wish I carried on testing and monitoring my progesterone so I could have seen if it was coming and asked that something be done...but then it is was actually a dodgy embryo that would never have continued growing anyway then maybe no point.

Good to know for lots of people that bleeding/spotting is normal though..

I did in the first 3 of my 4 pregnancies. Pregnancy 1 and 3 ended in miscarriage.

I had bleeding with 3 of my pregnancies. In two of them I would class it as "serious" with clotting. All three times, it was fine.

The times I didn't have bleeding were the miscarriages. Go figure.
