I have saw mixed awnsers about this one but when you search on Google it mentions that the loudness of fireworks can make your unborn baby death🤔I'm not sure if that a loud of crap, what would everyone else do, I know when they are really loud it feels like boming in your belly but would be quite sad not to go but obviously care about my baby more? What do you guys think

Your baby will be fine.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 05/11/2022 16:51

Deaf not death
and it's fine

Nectarpeach · 05/11/2022 16:51

Seriously?

Go enjoy the fireworks.

ijustcouldntthinkofausername · 05/11/2022 16:51

I really don't know and never heard this before but if I was 39 weeks pregnant and I heard this somewhere it would scare me and I'd not risk it 😬

Ladyofthepeonies · 05/11/2022 16:51

relax it will be fine, might wiggle a bit more bug that’s it.

chlo2022 · 05/11/2022 16:51

You should put some ear defenders around your belly just in case 🤪

MummyDummyNow · 05/11/2022 17:01

I'm not being an arse but do you really think this is possible? The baby is in amniotic fluid, inside you, how could fireworks make them deaf?

Blame Google! Maybe when you have had loads of miscarriages you don't want anything to go wrong again🙂

I'm sorry to hear you've had miscarriages, I know myself how awful that is and I do hope you have a healthy happy baby. As I said, I don't want to be an arse but I honestly can't imagine it's possible. Perhaps you should stay home if you're so anxious and look forward to taking little one in a few years when you can enjoy the fireworks together.

That's why I was asking for advice on here to ask if any other mums would go that far along, sometimes Google is very wrong and in a last post I saw someone went to a concert at 39 weeks pregnant lol so just wanted more people's advice

That's nonsense. Go out and enjoy them.

Hooverphobe · 05/11/2022 17:16

Yes, it’s true. That’s why only children born July-October can hear. The rest of us are deaf.

BattenburgDonkey · 05/11/2022 17:16

Of course it’s fine. Why would a baby surrounded by amniotic fluid and layers of muscle go deaf when babies and children get taken to firework's every year and are fine.

I meant deaf but thankyou!

I mean, if you're that worried, just don't go?

I went to a very loud rock gig when I was 24 weeks pregnant and baby was fine. Although she's now 5 and does have selective hearing! Hmm

gogohmm · 05/11/2022 17:18

Put it this way- I went to a gig at 38 weeks pregnant, dd has excellent hearing and is a musician! Apparently they can hear but it won't make them deaf.

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/11/2022 17:18

Was it Google or was it a site found by Google as a search engine, called stupidopinions.com?

With losses you are bound to feel anxious. Just step away from the internet, its a very silly place.

MajorCarolDanvers · 05/11/2022 17:19

Your baby will be absolutely fine.

Would recommend you stay away from Dr Google though.
