I have saw mixed awnsers about this one but when you search on Google it mentions that the loudness of fireworks can make your unborn baby death🤔I'm not sure if that a loud of crap, what would everyone else do, I know when they are really loud it feels like boming in your belly but would be quite sad not to go but obviously care about my baby more? What do you guys think

Make sure you take your bison with you if you go. (they won't go deaf either)

You all are "adults" so I suggest all the nasty and piss taking comments just back off, it was a question so stop being so petty🤣

Your baby is in the safest place it will ever be. Enjoy your evening.

Ignore the trolls
Your baby will be fine xx

I have two November babies and went to fireworks heavily pregnant with both of them. No problems with their hearing at all. Google can be a minefield!

I'm not being an arse but do you really think this is possible? The baby is in amniotic fluid, inside you, how could fireworks make them deaf?

My obstetrician consultant advised against me going to a concert in my first trimester 🤷🏻‍♀️

Your baby won’t have had ears in the first trimester so they didn’t advise against going to a concert to avoid making your baby deaf.

Lord. Just when you think people can't be any more precious or ridiculous.

Greenshake · 05/11/2022 20:48

@Arayes I know, and I despair 😞

magma32 · 05/11/2022 20:55

Hi don’t worry baby will be fine. I know how you feel, with repeat miscarriages you worry about all sorts and sometimes it can be irrational but unless people have been in your situation, they can act like some people on here and patronise you, make fun of your English unnecessarily or unhelpfully tell you not to go out at all 🙄 What a way to respond to an anxious pregnant woman. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Newuser82 · 05/11/2022 20:58

Ah she was only asking a question. Hope you go to the fireworks and enjoy yourself x

No, of course not.

I was heavily pregnant with my DS and went to watch a parade.
As a marching band passed, I could feel him kicking almost in time with the drums. Grin

RosesAndHellebores · 05/11/2022 21:07

I wonder if any research has taken place regarding an increase in deaf babies/children subsequent to the blitz.

NotMyselfWithoutCoffee · 05/11/2022 21:13

If it doesn't make you deaf love it won't make your baby deaf.

wibblewobbleball · 05/11/2022 21:20

Just back from a fireworks display and I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I went hoping the loud bangs might spur the baby into vacating the premises to be honest Grin

You have to go to the dentist and have a filling without an injection!

It does work, honestly!

Butwhybecause · 05/11/2022 21:26

Baby will be fine, OP.

I'm assuming you had your MMR or at least a rubella vaccination etc.

DaxTornado · 05/11/2022 21:51

Hope you've been and enjoyed the fireworks! The baby will enjoy the happy hormones! I was heavily pregnant at a Rammstein concert with my 10 year old. His hearing is great, and if anything, a little too good! We also took our then 2 month old with his older brother to a display amd he didn't have the benefit of any padding! He is fine and was laughing at the loud ones today!

theydontspeakforus · 05/11/2022 22:25

@MamaToOscar that didn't happen though did it
