5 weeks and got brown discharge

I’m approximately 5 weeks and a couple of days pregnant. I have previously miscarried in 2020 and had bright red bleeding with that pregnancy from week 4 until I miscarried at week 6. I’ve had 2 failed ivf cycles too so understandably quite anxious.
I had slight pink discharge last week and since yesterday noted the discharge in photos intermittently. I did start progesterone supplements due to my previous history 2 days ago. I’m having occasional cramping but had that since I found I was pregnant. Still having reflux. Boobs soreness was a bit less earlier but back now.

Should I be worried? Getting anxious if my pregnancy symptoms now are due to progesterone supplements.

@CSR721 @Kayycatt @H1994
I had a heavy bleed last night and passed a clot which was so scary. They did see a heartbeat today but I have an extra chorionic haemorrhage. Worried as had that in my last pregnancy. Just hoping it resolves. Have another scan next week.

@PB6 so glad baby is okay, and hope everything resolves for you 🤞🏼🌟❤️ we heard heartbeat today too so all is good, and we have a scan next week too!

Looks like spotting🤷🏻‍♀️

If it continues do call a doctor. Best of luck!!!

CSR721 · 25/10/2022 15:04

@PB6 glad they saw the heartbeat, fingers crossed the haemorrhage sorts itself out and settles down 💕💕

@PB6 @H1994

So glad there are heartbeats!

The flow has got heavier for me, feels like my period to be honest. If I didn't get a BFP last week, I would have thought this is just my normal period.

They have offered to do a blood test today but I am at work and can't get back before 3pm. They won't do a scan as they will only do that at 6 weeks+.

Cried a little last night about this but feel a little better today as work has kept me busy.

H1994 · 25/10/2022 15:30

@Kayycatt I'm so sorry that's happening to you... very confusing I can imagine. Hopefully they can do some bloods fast and get back to you - fingers crossed for you! ❤️

Kayycatt · 25/10/2022 16:03

@H1994 thanks. I think I have kind of accepted that this is a miscarriage and these there's nothing anyone can do about it. I have an appointment with the EPU on Thursday, so we will see what happen then.

H1994 · 25/10/2022 16:08

@Kayycatt I hope the EPU can give you some answers, stay hopeful - but you are right in saying that there is no control over the situation, which I know is horrid, but there is no responsibility on anyone's part if things don't go the way you want them to - but i'm keeping everything crossed that it isn't that for you 💕

PB6 · 25/10/2022 18:37

@CSR721 thanks! I hope it settles soon. It’s just scary especially as we’ve been in the same situation before

@Kayycatt

I’m so sorry to hear that. It must be so hard 😔😔. I only hope the bloods are positive. Please look after yourself. I know easier said than done
