Almost 6 weeks pregnant and heavy bleeding

Hi I am currently almost 6 weeks pregnant I started off last week Monday with brown discharge and now this morning I have woken up and I wiped myself the blood is a lot heavier and slightly more red. Has anyone had this before? And what has the outcome been for you?

I just rang epu and they said it sounds like the pregnancy is coming away naturally :(

@Kuljeet96 I'm sorry! 💔 Its hard to know in these situations as some people bleed heavily and go on to have successful pregnancies, while, for other people, it is a miscarriage.

As it's progressively got heavier and still heavy now, then there is a good possibility that your body is expelling the pregnancy tissue.

A test should give you a pretty definitive answer - if it's darker than before the bleeding, that's a great sign. If it's lighter, that means diminishing hCG and miscarriage.

I know it's confusing and seems so unfair - I was truely devastated after mine so I get it - but you have to accept that there's nothing you could have done differently and that you cannot change the outcome unfortunately. There is hope though, and many people suggest you're more fertile following a loss so when you're ready to try again, it may happen quickly. Sending you lots of postive energy 💖💖

Yeah it’s even more sad because we had a loss in July as well :(

Just took this test now very strong positive but this doesn’t mean anything does it? But also a clot came out bigger than the little seed ones

Pregnancy test can show positive for three weeks. Sorry op the 10 day wait was awful for me.

My boobs seem to be very sore

Bleeding has completely stopped now and it’s just a waiting game till thursday

I had a heavy bleed at 6w & 8W. Both times all was ok at the scan 🤞🏼 Hoping you get a positive outcome xxxx
