If you've had more than one spontaneous onset of labour...?

What day did you go into labour? Were the dates similar??

I'd include if you had a sweep but not induced labour.

I went into labour spontaneously at 40+2 with DD. Wondering how likely it will be the same for my current pregnancy or whether it can really vary.

DC1 - 40+6
DC2 - 36+0

DC2 was a bit of a surprise, I hadn’t fully packed my hospital bag!

Dc 1 - 41 + 1

Dc 2 - 41 + 5

40+5

DC 3 was brought on by walking miles and carrying DD for some of that. (we got lost).

I've had a quick look through the answers everyone has given and I appreciate this is a very far from scientific experiment! However there is close to a 50:50 split between those who had quite differing days (ie a week or more in difference between onset of labour) and those that had quite similar days (ie labour starting within 3 or 4 days of the same gestation each time). Some people with multiple DC seem to have a couple similar and then one clear outlier.!

So basically doesn't seem like there is any rhyme or reason and a big variety and I need to not focus too much on my previous 40+2! Kind of hoping this one comes a bit sooner but no doubt will keep me waiting!

Completely different labours! But born at a very similar time of day.

Which made them both born on the same day of the month. I had convinced myself #2 would be even earlier and spent 2 weeks absolutely raging that I was still pregnant.

Almost exactly the same for me. DC1 39+3, DC2 bang on 41 weeks. I'd been on mat leave for about 6 weeks when he finally made an appearance.

My three were all spontaneous labours:
