If you've had more than one spontaneous onset of labour...?

What day did you go into labour? Were the dates similar??

I'd include if you had a sweep but not induced labour.

I went into labour spontaneously at 40+2 with DD. Wondering how likely it will be the same for my current pregnancy or whether it can really vary.

First was 40 weeks exactly, second was 38+6

40+6 for all 3 of mine. I didn’t even bother packing my bag the 3rd time as I was expecting it on the 40+6 day

Quite a lot of variety then!

I think the fact I’d gone into labour a few days before my due date with my first made being so late with my second feel even worse. It sounds silly but I just wasn’t prepared for the possibility at all, I was so sure it would be similar to my first. Lesson learnt. 😂

On a positive note, my second labour was sooooo much quicker and easier than my first.

DC1 40+11
DC2 40+9
DC3 40+3

All six completely spontaneous and within 2 days either side of due date.

#1 born at exactly 40 weeks according to hospital or me but two days early according to the other one. Can't remember now who had what date but full term anyway. Baby was born 12 hours after I realised I was definitely in labour

#2 exactly 39 weeks by hospital dates. I had a much later date in my head 😂 baby arrived about 10 hours after I decided this was it!

Both babies weighed within one ounce of each other so that might be the trigger for me

Dd1 sweep at 40+3 and labour at 40+4 and dd2 labour in due date x

DC2 was spontaneous after a sweep at 41wks baby born 41+1.

DC3 spontaneous at 40+2

Had a sweep 2 days before with both.

36 + 6 and 38 + 0. Had 2 sweeps with the second.

Both spontaneous.

DC1 waters broke day before her due date but born on due date- bang on time at 40 weeks.
DC2 born at 37 weeks
DC 3 born at 41 weeks
DC4 born at 39 weeks

So that's a 4 week window!

The last 4 weeks of my pregnancy with DC3 was longest 4 weeks of my life as I convinced myself she'd be born 3 weeks early like her brother, in fact she was a week late!

Both spontaneous rupture of membranes followed by very fast labours (45 minutes and 95 minutes)

Mine are both on Tuesdays!

Went in to labour at 40+1, DS1 actually born 40+2 8 hours from first sign. DS2 was born on his due date, 8.5 hours from first sign of labour.

40+1 for both of them, but only just - DS was 2am and DD was 3am.

Dc1: 40+2 (born 40+4)
DC2: waters went 40+0, labour didn’t really start until 40+1 (and lasted minutes)

Went into labour at 40+6 with DD1 and DD2, DD1 took 2 days to arrive though 🙈
Current 37+6 and hoping I Don't have another 3 weeks to wait!

My first was 6 hours so of my second is faster then hopefully a home birth will be the right option as I live an hour away from the hospital 🤣

My dates weren't similar but first twinges of labour did start at midnight each time.
