Symptom-free pregnancy - worried!

I have had 3 miscarriages in a row - all early.
First pregnancy, I had no symptoms and found a MMC on week 12 scan (stopped growing at 5 weeks). Second one was a chemical pregnancy and third one was a miscarriage between weeks 7 and 8 (saw heartbeat a week prior and then no heartbeat a week later). Third pregnancy, I had nausea and really sore breasts which then disappeared just before the scan on which we found no heartbeat.

I am now ?6weeks. I’ve not had any symptoms (apart from loose stools). So I’m naturally associating this with my past experience. So worried this will
be another MC.

I have a scan tomorrow afternoon and I’m terrified. I’ve said I won’t get ‘attached’ to this pregnancy but I don’t think that’s a thing, is it?

Anyone been in a similar position before?

Thank you ladies.

I am okay. Sort of.
Towards the end of last week, I had some spotting. No pain, just old dark blood. I was started on progesterone and have had a scan today. There has been some growth but foetal heart rate was very slow. This will probably also be another miscarriage, sadly.
Having a repeat scan on Friday to see. 🤷‍♀️

How is everyone else doing?

I’m so sorry @Kroot. I’ll keep everything crossed things turn around and baby is just a late bloomer.

I’m good. Ten weeks tomorrow and still symptom free. My NHS scan is on the 23rd but I booked another private scan for tomorrow just for reassurance so feeling nervous about that.

Moosh18 · 07/06/2022 19:56

@Kroot I hope you get good news on Friday, ❤️ I started pink spotting last night still going now, only when I wipe but still have it, no pain or anything but expecting the worst, have an app at EPU tomorrow morning at 8:50
😩

Good luck @kennetrose and @Moosh18 , fingers crossed for your scans today

Hey @Kroot Confirmed this morning MMC, babies heart gave up two days ago..... d and c on Friday... I am beyond heartbroken. I should of been 12 weeks next week, 💔

kennetrose · 08/06/2022 19:17

@Kroot thanks Kroot. My scan went well. Baby measuring a day ahead. They waved and wiggled. They’re looking like a real baby now!

Still no symptoms at 10 weeks. Weird but if anyone reads this in future…no symptoms really can be perfectly fine.

kennetrose · 08/06/2022 19:19

I’m so sorry Moosh.

sorry I started writing my post before you replied, I didn’t mean for it to be insensitive to you.

Moosh18 · 08/06/2022 19:54

@kennetrose not at all, I'm really happy for you!!! I'm so glad you got good news! ❤️

Oh @Moosh18 I am so sorry, lovely. I’ve been there before (x3!) so I know how it feels. It’s just cruel, and I’m heartbroken for you.

Have all the comforts you want, stay in bed as much as you want. Rest up before and after Friday (incidentally D day for me too). If you ever want to talk, this thread is here or feel free to message me. Sending you so much love and as much as it will always hurt, this too shall pass.

@Kroot I love that saying, I say it all the time ❤️ it really will, I'm devastated my heart is broken, it looked like a perfect baby today, but it's heart has stopped, the hospital gave us a beautiful memory box, but they say everything happens for a reason, we lost a baby before our DD and I was heartbroken, but when I had her it all made sense, without that loss we wouldn't have our amazing girl, I hope this time too there is an explanation... I really really appreciate your thoughts both of you @kennetrose miscarriage is such a lonely time. This baby was so real to me, it was real we saw it's heartbeat, yet we have to act like everything is fine to save everyone's discomfort 😩

Moosh18 · 11/06/2022 09:22

@Kroot how are you lovely? X

Kroot · 11/06/2022 10:34

Hi @Moosh18 .
I continued spotting, and scan yesterday unsurprisingly showed no heartbeat. On the plus side now that I’ve stopped taking progesterone, it is starting to happen naturally (didn’t want to wait for weeks or have another surgical management).
How are you holding up?

Moosh18 · 11/06/2022 11:01

Oh @Kroot I'm so so sorry it's so devastating, how are you you feeling? Will the do any investigation or anything?

I'm okay, had a d and c yesterday which was very upsetting but glad it's finally over x

Kroot · 11/06/2022 14:37

Thank you, @Moosh18 .
This is my fourth miscarriage, so I’ve had some investigations already, waiting on some results but most of them have been unremarkable.
Last one was chromosomal abnormality, presumably this one is too given it never grew properly.
Did they offer you any further investigations?

I feel slightly better than I did last time, but I think that’s because I didn’t allow myself to get excited about this one at all. We also didn’t tell anyone about the pregnancy so we don’t have to now update them.
It’s still rubbish but not much I can do really.

Glad your procedure went well. Biggest plus of having that done for me was the quicker physical recovery. Hopefully you’ll be back to your normal physical self very soon. Are you taking time off work?
