Terrified for my 12 week scan tomorrow 😔

Hi all,
I have my first scan tomorrow. I'm around 11 weeks (long cycle so dates don't match to LMP) with pregnancy 4. We have a 10 year old son and we have lost two babies in the last year. I can't help but be scared for tomorrow and the possibility that we're going to get bad news again. My husband is trying to reassure me and I know that statistically things are more likely to be positive but I just can't help it. Everytime I think about it I feel like crying because I can't stand the thought of it. The closer it gets the more scared I'm feeling. I just can't shake it off.
I just needed to get this out of my head because I feel like screaming and no-one else knows about the pregnancy yet so I have no one else to talk to about it.

Thank you all so so much for your support today. I'm over the moon to report that everything went well ❤ baby is 11 weeks exactly and due on 20th October. Strong heart beat and looking beautiful 😍 I sobbed at the sonographer and couldn't keep still for her to get a good view at first! She was brilliant and said she likes happy tears.

I’m so thrilled for you. I had exactly the same thing- 2mcs and a 7 year old. I remember having my eyes closed and then she said, “baby’s looking fine in there” and I just cried! What a relief for you! Good luck with everything.

Ah, I watched this thread for the happy outcome! So glad it all went well. Those early days of pregnancy are so worrying. And then suddenly, you’re 41 weeks pregnant and trying to encourage the little thing out! (That’s me, today).
