@HoneyLemon29 ignore that question - just read back your history. I was mainly asking as my HCG is high so now wondering if I need to worry

So great to hear about so many positive scan experiences! It really does go to show that bleeding doesn't always mean the end, despite how scary it is when it happens.

I haven't had any more spotting since Monday, so I am starting to relax a little on that front. Doesn't stop me holding my breath every time I wipe though...

@HoneyLemon29 those numbers look great for where you are! Great that you can see the EPU earlier though- hopefully this will help with how you are feeling.

I guess the first set of results don't tell you much. My number is 6,996 which puts me right for where my dates are, I took the test when I was nearing the end of 5 weeks, so that's a positive.
I am relieved to see that my progesterone is in the normal range. I couldn't get any when I went to the GP on Monday, but at least now know that if it does go wrong, that wouldn't have made a difference.

Thank you everyone. She did openly say for 4+1 she was expecting a lower number and thinks I could be dated wrong (but I went along with it just to get seen) 🤭😰 I know I'm 4+3 today I tracked ovulation and ovulated on CD14 as I usually do.
Even if my levels do double in tomorrows results it doesn't rule out Ectopic but does reduce the risk a little bit. I'm over the moon that my scan will be a lot earlier than waiting until after 6 weeks which is what they wanted to begin with. They will scan after levels reach over 1500/2000 and if my levels have doubled, I'll be about 1900 at todays blood test leaving them to arrange the scan for the next week rather than the week after 🎉

Sorry I never explained why Im worried about HCG. The higher it gets the lower chance I have of any treatment for Ectopic working that doesn't involve removing the tube 😮‍💨 this is why I'm pushing to find out where baby is located before my levels get too high 😰

First of all I wish everyone to have healthy pregnancies and you get to meet your baby when the time is right!

I'm currently pregnant at 5 weeks and 6 days, I had frozen embryo transfer in February. TTC for nearly five years now with four miscarriages in the last three years. My last pregnancy was natural after failed IVF cycle, however that pregnancy ended as a partial molar pregnancy. I have sent off two blood tests, at 5w2d my levels were 20,131, from 5w3d to 5w5d I have been incredibly nauseous and sick three times, however today I woke up with no nausea or sickness at all, which of course is worrying me, just want it back, I keep reading that's okay and symptoms can come and go, however after so many losses it's very hard to conceive yourself.

My scan at IVF clinic is at 7w3d, phone EPU today and they would only scan me at 8 weeks because of previous molar pregnancy.

I had some spotting at 5 weeks.

@HoneyLemon29 I didn’t realise the correlation between a high hCG reading and the ectopic treatment not working. No wonder you’re so anxious, well done for persevering & getting yourself seen next week. Hopefully you can relax a bit more this weekend now xxx

Thank you for the good wishes ladies. I can’t believe what I’m writing, baby is measuring 7 weeks with a strong heartbeat 😭🤍 I had written us off so I’m absolutely elated, what a rollercoaster of emotion. My spotting has stopped today so praying it stays that way xxx

@aesgriff Burger is probably fine. Very rare in beef - more likely in cat litter. Please don't worry!

@Cruz86 they aren't overly concerned at the moment but because after an Ectopic there's a 10-20% chance of it happening again they want a placement scan tomorrow.
Ectopics usually don't have doubling HCG levels but it doesn't rule it out 100% x

@Cruz86 they are positive but not a sure thing until a scan confirms :( I'm worried because I'll only be 4+5 tomorrow and if they say they can't see anything I'll panic 😱

Yeah it is still very early @HoneyLemon29, you'll probably see a little gestational sac forming maybe? It's so nerve wracking when you've been through something before 😩 x
