Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

Morning ladies, I have decided to be brave and join even though still not made it to af due date (Sunday) yet so super anxious it's all going to go wrong! I got a faint positive on an internet cheapie on Wednesday at 10dpo which luckily a cb digital confirmed! Tested again at 5am and had a slightly darker line so hopefully it is progressing but not sure I'll feel certain for a few weeks yet!

This is #2 for me, my ds is 21 months old and we've been ttc since last June with no luck so was starting to worry but here we are!

I kindve guessed I was pregnant on Tuesday as was having major heartburn, waves of nausea and cramps on my left side. That's settled a bit now but the exhaustion is unreal, keep falling asleep as soon as I've put my toddler to bed! 😬😂

Anyway, super long post but v exited to hopefully have a sticky bean and go through this journey with you all! I found my birth club board absolutely invaluable in my first pregnancy (and beyond!)

BabyBird20 · 18/03/2022 08:49

@Natalie2304 hi and thanks for encouraging me over! That line is super exciting!! I will definitely doing the same and continuously testing probably right up til I have a scan! 😂

@LEBee92 so exciting to see you here too, I have a spa with my mum too, not sure if I'll be allowed the massage though!?

I have so far told my parents, best friend and a friend from work as they'll be the ones who'd end up supporting me through a loss anyway and I'm not superstitious about telling people before 12 weeks like in the old days!

kentiapalm · 18/03/2022 08:51

@Natalie2304

5 weeks tomorrow and for some reason crazy pregnant person reason decided to do a FRER this morning. Definitely a dye stealer today! Love not having to squint and hold it up to the light 😂
That's a great line.

I've spent so much money on frers it's ridiculous but seeing the line progression helps my anxiety! Last time I was testing even at week 12 before my scan Grin

Bramblecrumble21 · 18/03/2022 09:10

@LEBee92 welcome. I'm also thinking of telling my mum on mother's day.

lenqu · 18/03/2022 10:20

Hi all, I think I may be having a baby with EDD November 21, 2022. I am having trouble getting very excited about it as I had a missed miscarriage end of January with natural loss in February. I think we conceived before my first period. I had my HCG tested on Feb 14 (wonderful valentines day at the hospital...) and it was 800. I had a feeling I may be pregnant and tested and it was a faint line around March 11. Now it is brighter than the control line and my bloodwork shows it is back up to 2023 with progesterone at 45. Hoping this is real and for sticky dust. I cannot talk to my dr until March 28!!!! Pregnancy this year is driving me insane.

Feb85 · 18/03/2022 10:34

Hi I hope everyone is doing really well. So this is my first time posting and hope its ok me to join. This is my first pregnancy after trying for 15months so super super excited but also extremely worried that everything is going as normal. I am currently 6 weeks and two days pregnant and going by NHS calculator expected due date is the 9th November 😊. Reason for posting is wondering if anyone else has experienced period like cramps at different times throughout the days and also some back ache and stiffness thankfully have had no spotting or bleeding but checking every time I wee just in case(sorry for tmi) I have read that cramps are normal however I do seem to have them nearly every day. I have booked a private early scan for next Saturday and have my first midwife appointment next Friday so hopefully that will be some reassurance. Just wondering has anyone else experienced this.

Casper94 · 18/03/2022 11:32

@Feb85 omg I am having the exact same! It freaked me out at first but (tmi) I reckon I'm constipated and also as far as I can tell from articles etc it's quite normal this early on so I'm trying to tell myself not to panic but I am also a knicker checker 😂

Pamctake2 · 18/03/2022 12:08

@Justawannabemam oh of course, yeah hopefully it will all be planned and calm so you'll have plenty of prep time and limited stress 🥰

Welcome @BabyBird20 @LEBee92 @Feb85 ❤️

@Feb85 cramps are totally normal, I think they vary from woman to woman but your body is doing so much it's normal to feel some of that. Not long until that early scan where you get to see the heartbeat and it all becomes a little more real x

@lenqu I had a MMC and totally understand the anxiety around early pregnancy but remember this is a new pregnancy, just take each day as it comes xx

tigger2022 · 18/03/2022 12:10

Is anyone else struggling with morning sickness Envy ...any tips? I think I've tried the usual stuff - ginger, bland carby food, peppermints, Emeterm wristband, Gaviscon, cold water...

boringperson123 · 18/03/2022 12:17

Are tests always supposed to look darker each day? I took a test yesterday and it looks pretty much the same as today at 4+4 so it has me a bit worried as during 12-15dpo they looked significantly darker each day. Should I have a dye stealer by now?

I’m a bit obsessed and should probably step away but I can’t seem to do so

Motherofpugs · 18/03/2022 12:26

@boringperson123 HCG doubles around every 2-3 days I think so you’re fine. I tend to test every other day after 4 weeks because of that. I had a dye stealer at 5 weeks but again I think HCG levels vary for each person anyway. If testing makes you feel anxious I would definitely stop. Saying that though I don’t stop until I get a 3+ on a clear blue digital myself but I don’t test daily because that would make me anxious. There comes a point where you have to trust your body and put the tests away.

Zandasstar7 · 18/03/2022 12:36

Hi @tigger2022 omg my nausea is unbearable nothing helps. It’s 24/7. Just been given meds from gp to try and help x

Cocobeau · 18/03/2022 13:26

So excited! I just had the call it feels like I've been waiting a life time for (3.5 days to be exact) from the midwife to book my first scan.
She's got me in for 11th April, which will put me at 8 weeks. Is that considered an early scan? I'm 38 so wondered if they might bring you in a bit earlier because of the age.

Feb85 · 18/03/2022 14:26

Thank you so much for your replies @Casper94 and @Pamctake2 it's really helpful to talk to people and get some reassurance that these pains are normal and that others are experiencing them to it's so so exciting and also so worrying hope everyone is doing well x

Bubblegum20 · 18/03/2022 14:59

Hi everyone, I got my positive on Tuesday i'm about 5 weeks now so still super early, haven't really got any sickness yet just a bit tired but with my DD I'm sure I didn't start feeling a bit sick until about 6-8 weeks

Bramblecrumble21 · 18/03/2022 15:30

@frida9. How's things today? Did you manage to get a scan?

rainingcats · 18/03/2022 20:12

I’ve got my booking appointment letter in the post today, impressed as I only filled out the form on Tuesday.

I feel very achey all over the exhaustion also seems to have hit me today.

Cheetocat · 18/03/2022 20:12

Fiancé just had to open a glass bottle of ginger ale with his keys in the supermarket carpark because I got nauseated during the food shop. It's so strange how it happens so suddenly.

SunnyDueNov · 18/03/2022 20:24

@Cheetocat how strange, literally drinking a ginger ale as your message came through and thinking about skipping supper. Nausea is awful right now, but not actually sick with it! Hope it goes away soon, just don’t want to put on lots of weight and have to work hard to lose it in 9 months 😂

roobearbaby · 18/03/2022 20:28

Just coming up to 6 weeks tomorrow and I still have no sickness or nausea. I do have to keep eating though as my tummy feels super empty all the time....I feel like I am being lured into a false sense of security!

Kathno4 · 18/03/2022 21:56

I spent my whole morning eating, all afternoon lightly grazing and now not hungry but starting to feel sick so may have some toast before sleep. Wake feeling so nauseous I have to get up an hour before my other 3 children just for it to settle. Not that I’m sleeping for having to pee all night 🤣 love that I’m pregnant but shocked how quick all these symptoms have come about this time. I have boy girl boy here and only ever actually threw up twice with my first and not once with the other two 🙂

Oooo I do hope I have a similar experience! I'm just about to head to bed with a slice of toast and marmite too
Cocobeau · 19/03/2022 06:01

Has anyone else all but lost their appetite? I think I’ve had every symptom going though not too severely thankfully but this whole not wanting to eat thing is so unlike me. Lol.

Kathno4 · 19/03/2022 06:14

@Cocobeau that’s normal! Don’t worry, I was like that with my first all the way through, my body only wanted crisps and pizza here and there 😳 he’s now nearly 11 and was born 7lb 5oz. Don’t stress everyone is different 💖

BabyBird20 · 19/03/2022 08:30

Had a slightly darker line this morning which is a major relief as did a test yesterday and could hardly see a shadow so was a bit worried! Af due tomo so hoping I'll start to relax a bit more on Monday.... not sure I will though! 😬
