Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

Omg amazing! 😁 I'm so nervous but excited and it feels so nice to have this group and people to experience it with otherwise I think I'd drive my partner insane 😂

Myfairytalecametrue · 16/03/2022 15:32

Congratulations all!!
I think I got my first positive this morning. So anxious that it was wrong though. We've been trying to conceive for a long time. Only 2 days late for period, and the line was visible but faint. Fingers crossed for a darker line tomorrow

Myfairytalecametrue · 16/03/2022 15:34

Have other people still had cramps? I can't relax as I still feel like I'm getting period pains. Just dull ache for the last few days.

Motherofpugs · 16/03/2022 15:36

@Myfairytalecametrue Yes I am getting them too. I’m 5 weeks tomorrow. Can’t help but worry although everything I’ve seen online says it’s normal.

That relaxes me a little to know it's not just me. Thank you. It's so nerve-wracking isn't it! It's like I'm scared to let myself get completely excited

🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m 28 as well and due on 20th. This will be my first baby but second pregnancy after a CP last November. Very excited at the minute but also feeling nerves and being an obsessive knicker checker every time I go to the toilet. Hopefully the nerves will go soon

@SunnyDueNov

Random question, am I the only one here that’s disconnected their Facebook account for years because there’s no interest in seeing updates from people and knowing every detail about their lives...
To be honest, hardly anyone posts on Facebook any more except for the boomers. I just use it for groups.

Yes, for about a week now, they come and go but are very mild, that's actually why I waited so long to do a test, I felt cramping when I had covid in January and the stress of it had made me late by five days, I thought it was the same thing this time!
Littleheart5 · 16/03/2022 16:34

@TheBirdintheCave so sorry to hear that, and sorry I missed your message earlier on. That must be so hard, I can’t imagine

Casper94 · 16/03/2022 16:48

@sunflowers03 sorry to hear about your previous loss ❤️ I had a MC a couple of years ago myself so completely understand the knicker checking!

Kathno4 · 16/03/2022 18:09

@SunnyDueNov you’re not the only one without Facebook, popped on 4 years ago for a couple weeks and thought it’s not for me 🤣 haven’t looked back at all

SunnyDueNov · 16/03/2022 18:16

@Kathno4 ❤️ Seems like there’s a few of us happy to stay here with no fb.

SunnyDueNov · 16/03/2022 18:19

Just wanted to ask the audience whether your midwives have been quick to get back to you once you notified them of your pregnancy? I’m 7 weeks, contacted them 10 days ago and still haven’t heard back. Decided to go private because I’m just too worried about the whole process, being in the more mature mothers, at risk group... wondering if anyone can relate.

I had this in the first trimester of my first pregnancy and have it now.

Hi all! Due 21st November with DC2

Bramblecrumble21 · 16/03/2022 19:15

I've not heard back from the midwives. I received an automatic response saying only contact them if you haven't heard by 10 weeks. I'm going NHS, and am low risk.

Myfairytalecametrue · 16/03/2022 19:27

Thanks for responding. Feel more relaxed this evening, testing again in the morning to double check.

My due date is 29th November

kentiapalm · 16/03/2022 19:33

@ablisha have you noticed any difference in the cramps between pregnancies?

I'm sure last time around I didn't start cramping until around 5 weeks, but I'm 4 weeks today and have had cramps for a few days already.

Frida9 · 16/03/2022 19:43

Im currently 6 weeks, have my first midwife appointment on Monday (NHS). Not sure what to expect apart from questions about family medical history etc. Has anyone else seen a midwife yet?

BubblyOne00 · 16/03/2022 19:49

Does anyone not really feel pregnant?! Seems to come and go for me. I am super early, only 4 weeks 5 days. Thought my boobs would be sore or swollen but they aren't. Trying not to worry

boringperson123 · 16/03/2022 20:00

I’ve had constant cramps, very mild so not too bad
I have had pretty bad back ache today though

smiles39 · 16/03/2022 20:06

@Bramblecrumble21 @SunnyDueNov I’m a little confused by the process. I called my GP and completed a self-referral through the link they sent me. Which said they would contact between 10-12 weeks to book appointment and scans.

So is that it? I just sit around until they contact me with no guidance or contact beforehand?

SunnyDueNov · 16/03/2022 20:12

@smiles39 sounds wrong, when some ladies have had appointments come through when 5-6 weeks. I’d chase it up by contacting your clinic, I should have done that too, but just couldn’t wait for them to get back to me, schedule an appointment and then wait when I’m high risk. My husbands sister has Spina bifida, so I need that reassurance that everything is ok so far. Decided to book a private scan for reassurance. It’s around £79 where I’ve, but will be worth it for peace of mind x

BubblyOne00 · 16/03/2022 20:13

@Annabelle0852
I was 4 weeks ans 5 days also!!

Natalie2304 · 16/03/2022 20:17

@smiles39 the process varies massively by trust. In my last pregnancy I got a booking in appointment at 10 weeks then my scan at 12 weeks. They have now changed that and have bloods at 6 weeks, then booking in appointment and then scan at 12 weeks xx
