3rd baby coming, terrified!

Hey everyone,

So I’m very early on in a very unexpected pregnancy and I am quite frankly crapping myself. I have two daughters who are 4 and 1.5. We are currently living with my parents while we save for a deposit and it’s going to push us back a bit which means us living here longer, which is fine but not ideal. I have days where I’m losing my mind with my two and I really can’t imagine having a third. I know I’ll love the baby but I’m just so, so scared.

Can any mums of 3 tell me it’s gonna be okay?

Hi ladies I am pregnant with number 3 and feeling lonely. My mum who has always been so supportive is now in her 70s with health issues and I don’t have any close friends nearby. I hope to make more friends soon maybe through pregnancy yoga that I wish to start. I am only 4+ 4 and nervous as have no symptoms at all. Xx

Hi Sunnierdays7. Hope you OK. You'll make loads of new friends on here. Everyone is so supportive and hopefully you'll find someone on here who's in your area.! Bump & Baby groups are a great way to make some friends! Always here is you need a chat or someone to moan too xxx

@Sunnierdays7 hope your feeling ok and your pregnancy is going good. Pregnancy yoga sound's really good place to start and even bump and baby classes too. Same as what luckytobeamummy said always here if you want a chat. I have 4 kids and they arw a hand full

It's chaotic and exhausting, my house is a mess, playdoh and toys everywhere and more laundry than I've ever seen in my life.. but my heart has never been fuller and I've never been so content with my little life
I worried my whole pregnancy about how it was going to be and it's fine...I wish you all healthy perfect pregnancy's and beautiful scrumptious babies at the end, it's so worth it!... it really is! 😘 💐

Totally agree. Its all worth it! I couldn't imagine my life without my crazy 4 kids, they make me want to wake up every morning! Even with all the chaos and the stress and sleepless night, all they have to do is smile at me and I know I'm doing something right. xx

Aww I'm really glad your doing good! My third is now almost four months now and it's still going good here too apart from the occasional blip (usually between 4 and 5 after school when two youngest wake from naps hungry and everyone is screaming and five year old doesn't want to do his reading). Other than that it's all great xx

@Luckytobeamummy thank you for the kind words. We just moved country too and so I'm trying to build up my network. So far I've made some lovely friends though. 😊 I agree that being able to say you did it all and the kids have had good experiences is very rewarding. My inlaws lives less than 5mins away and haven't seen the kids in weeks but I just think... their loss! And try not to think about my kids loss.
@Violet1988 I think everyone has those blips! Mine is the same after school! Sometimes we've been out all morning and everyone is hungry and needs something at the very same time! But we get through and the moments of seeing them all together in the bath or garden are just beautiful

I had 3 under 5. The 3rd was planned. I enjoyed having 3 little ones. It was challenging and tiring but enjoyable. Yes, there were difficult days. Yes it was difficult getting them all in the car (i had a Toyota people carrier). I think the dynamics between the 3 children will shape things going forwards. TBH it was easier when they were little. They got on well. Now the girls are teenagers. Sparks fly. The seem to hate each other. I’m hoping it is temporary. I think all mums are tested by being a mum. Try to enjoy it!

How early? Early enough to have options? Two and a roof over your head might be better then three and everlasting financial worries.

@peonies1988 and everyone else on this thread who was pregnant back in 2022, how is it going with three? I've just found out I'm pregnant with number 3 and feeling scared!

Hey @Anonna123 I am 10 weeks pregnant with number 3! I have a 2 year old and 3 year old already. Baby number 3 is due on my 3 years old birthday! I am actually currently excited but I know I'll most probably be terrified closer to the time xx
